Thanks for your hospitality, i did enjoy the Grit!

Just let you know i reach Key West at midnight the 14 april. I had to stop 4 nights in South Miami beach du to bad weather. So, i start my riding the 13 mars in Washington DC and  Reach Key West the 14 april. I went from Washington DC to Wilmington NC and follow the coast to Key West, 3000km bicycle trip.

I can't say enough good things about Faye's, it's owner, the cashier's and the cools because I absolutely adore everything about this place; especially the food. If you e ever been to a small mom and pop cafe and gotten that southern cookin experience...Faye's is that place. It's a store/lil cafe combined and the best for breakfast and lunch. Delicious Southern Sweet tea and friendly smiling face! I will forever recommend this place. Been eating their since 2008....

Food was absolutely delicious. I'm kind of hard of hearing though from the army but I heard the cook yell something so I turned around and when I saw the food the lady said" ok fine I'll just leave it here and if it gets cold it's not my problem". Personally, I think that's the wrong attitude to have when you have to deal with customers all day. It would have taken less breath to just repeat the order,...
