I was trying to feed my family lunch before my husband had to leave for work. I ordered a Medium Combo and a Chicken tender meal with 2 sides. My entire order was over $24.00. I signed the receipt for the cashier and she asked me to pull forward while tenders cooked. When she finally strolled out to my car 10 minutes later I had to pull out of the parking lot because I was pressed for time and had a sleeping baby in the car. Not a big deal; BUT when I got home I discovered that the combo food was NOT given to me. One of my meal sides (fries) was half EMPTY and the few fries I did have were ICE cold. On top of that, the cashier did not give me a copy of the receipt---something she should have done before she even asked me to drive forward. I called the store and talked to the manager when I discovered the extent of the horrible service the restaurant provided. She took my name and said she would replace my order at any time. As a manager at a hotel I know very well what good customer service is- to exceed expectations, to delight, and to solve problems. My problem was not solved. I was extremely inconvenienced, and will not return to this Hardee's to have my order replaced. For all the money I dished out, I only received enough food for 1 person. She should have found my receipt number and offered a full refund...
Read moreWhile heading into Wilmington for a medical appointment, my wife and I decided to stop in Castle Hayne, at Hardee's for a quick lunch. Originally, we thought "Paul's Place" to get a custom built hot dog. At 12 noon?...Forget it. The place was packed, full of locals.
At any rate, we waited and waited, and waited a little longer. A customer that was ahead of us was somewhat annoyed, because his order was wrong. In the meantime, there was one employee attempting to work the drive-through, training a new employee and attempting to get orders correct by the cook, behind the line. Finally, another employee came from the back to help her. My wife and I patiently waited. She refunded the man's money due to the order error, then took our order, which was the cheaper Special. It was perhaps the better choice compared with a premium order. Plus, the French fries were not salted to death, enough to cut the tongue from one's mouth, then drown it with soda to swallow it. Although, this summary is verbose, it was the fact this hardworking employee didn't smart off with other coworkers, nor the anxious customer. I thought it admirable of her and her patience was...
Read moreThe woman named Sandy and the other front worker named Ricardo took my order on the 6th and the 7th at 7:00 am. On the 6th day of May my order was over $18... I didn't say anything of it. I got everything I wanted and was content. The next day I came in I ordered the same thing for $14. This time when I went to ask for a large cup for my 2 small strawberry lemonades they refused and said I owed them 3.09... they got my buisness 2 days in a row and forgetting about all the other times I've come to this store. My team and I will not be returning to this store and will be going to the Hardee's in Leland. Sandy has a huge attitude issue... seems like other reviews are pertaining her... good people and help are hard to find. I will not recommend this place to anyone and definitely the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food...
