WARNING!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE HARDEE'S LOCATED IN FRANKLINTON OFF OF HWY 1. Went to this location on November 4, 2025. My husband & I ordered 2 burgers, a bacon cheese burger for myself & super star combo & the 3 piece chicken tenders. We went through the drive thru to collect our order & before we drove off we looked the bag & they forgot to put my husband's super star hamburger. And they had the nerve to say when they handed us the bag with our order, everything's in there. Lucky we checked the bag before we drove off. He received only part of the combo, the fries & soda. But no hamburger. We knocked on the drive thru window bringing this to their attention. They at first acted confused but eventually gave him his burger, we are thinking it was his super star burger. We get home, my husband goes for his burger & it's a bacon cheeseburger, by the way that's what I ordered. And the bacon cheeseburger is much cheaper than the super star burger which was a combo, which cost more than just a burger. My husband goes back to Hardee's and our time is value. Hardee's not down the block and taking time out his day for pure incompetence is outrageous. Well anyway he gets there to get the correct burger & the so called manager can't make a decision over a $12.00 hamburger. She has to call her boss, which is RIDICULOUS! What a waste of time. Hardee's refused to give him his burger which was around $6.00 more than the bacon cheeseburger he received because he didn't return the burger he received. He already bit into it not realizing it was the wrong burger. What was Hardee's going to do with the stupid burger? It was partially eaten. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We are going to report this unprofessional location to the corporate office. I could see why the parking lot's always empty. They are TERRIBLE!!! I see why their rating is only a 3.9. This place is a joke & needs to be shutdown. We will never return to this...
Read moreWhen we walked in, the place was deserted, not an employee to be found. We called out a couple times, still no response. We loved at the menu for a few minutes, deciding what we wanted. After deciding, we approached the counter and again called out. Still no response. We were ready to walk out when an employee (finally) came out from around the corner. She jumped because she apparently didn't expect anyone to be there and was startled. Finally more employees started coming out from wherever they were. They all seemed sluggish.
The employees didn't seem to care about practicing good social distancing measures and wearing masks. We visited August 19, 2021. Two employees wore their masks correctly, several had their mouths covered but not their nose, and several weren't even wearing masks. One male employee in the back, I'm assuming a cook, had his hair up on top of his head, no covering. He was leaning up against cook equipment and his hair was touching up against the air cleaner and other overhead equipment. Did not seem very sanitary.
On to the food... Disappointing. I got the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich, which looked great in the picture on the menu board. Unfortunately it's didn't taste anywhere near as good. I wasn't expecting a true waffle for the "bread" but what I got was disappointing. It was more like a bread just pressed into the shape of a waffle. Heck, putting chicken between two Eggo waffles would have been way better!!
On the plus side, the seating part of the restaurant was clean.

This is, without a doubt, the worst Hardee's I have ever visited. I have bought food there twice now, and will never return until the place is completely reformed. Both times I visited my order was screwed up completely. The toppings were completely wrong, and I didn't ask for special orders either time I went. The second time, one sandwich was normal, and the other sandwich was simply supposed to add BBQ sauce. Both came out with only BBQ sauce. I was informed that there were no 1/2 lb burger patties, so I asked for two 1/3 lb patties on one sandwich, and received one 1/3 lb patty, but was charged for a 1/2 lb burger.
When we explained the issues, asked them to remake the sandwiches, and asked for a refund for the difference between a 1/3 lb burger and a 1/2 lb, the person who took our order simply rolled her eyes, and the cashier ignored the receipt and just opened the register and tried to give us three times more than the difference. At this point, we took less than the difference between the two burgers so as to not short them or try to explain any further and just get the heck out of there.
Our orders were STILL wrong, and this whole process took 30 minutes, despite there being FIVE people working there, and there being only two people in line. It took them 15 minutes to get our two burgers out to us each time.
