Pepe’s Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

we had a group of 12, we were there well over 2 hours. I feel like they only had one pizza oven as they brought one pizza out in 20 minutes later they would bring another pizza out in 20 minutes later. another pizza out one person in our party didn’t get her pizza till everyone else was completely finished and had all of their leftover spot stuff. We ordered a salad as appetizer, which didn’t come until after we were completely finished eating and they brought the salad out and then got mad when we told them we didn’t want the salad any longer and said if we were Christian we would pay for it.. I dont know what that had to do with anything. completely horrible service. Ive never been anywhere where they treated you like that. We ended up paying for our appetizer salad and they put it in a to-go box.I dont understand why they made us pay for it when they brought it put after we were done eating. Do not go here unless you have a lot of extra time on your hands. I went to speak to the manager and she went off on us and proceeded to yell and scream and use every filthy word you can think of. We have never dined-in, we always pick up. We use their app to order. The food is never an issue, it's always good. But we will never order from them again. We placed our order via the app, it said 30-45 minutes. No problem. We get the alert that it's ready so we go ahead to the restaurant. We go in, wait in line...we're ignored while they call up people that were behind us. We say "hey, what's going on?" and the girl says "oh are you here to pick up?" We tell them the name and she goes to check...they HAD NOT even finished making the pizza, much less put it in the oven. When we inquired why we got the message that it was ready, we get a (cop out) excuse of "sometimes the app sends them out before we're ready." 🙄 They don't even try to make things right, just a shrug. So yeah, never again. Oh, we get it home and they didn't even cut the pizza. It's hard to make this decision because the food is really good, never had a problem with the taste. But after we've given numerous chances with the app and the service, it's time to...

So this place was wonderful! It is both The Sea Biscuit and Pepe’s under one roof. While I’m interested to try the seafood, the pizza was delicious!

Everyone is kind, the bathrooms were clean, but getting back to the pizza! It’s served fresh, reasonably priced and even though our pizza came out a bit over cooked the first time, this was still a great visit!

While I hated to send it back, we did and I’m so glad because our server was kind, and got our remade pizza out in no time! It was worth the extra time to wait for it and I’m thankful for the connect four game at the table that help our attention some of that time. Our family looks forward to...
