Breakfast at Sea Biscuit Cafe in Supply, NC was everything â˜€ïžđŸœïž My husband had the breakfast platter — hearty, classic, and cooked just right. I went with fried green tomatoes on a biscuit with pimento cheese and bacon, and it was unreal. Crispy, tangy, creamy, smoky
the perfect combo đŸ€€ And the crispy fried hash browns? Absolute perfection — golden, crunchy, and impossible to stop eating đŸ„”âœš If you’re near Holden Beach or Supply and want a true Southern breakfast that feels homemade and filling, this spot is a must. #LocalCafe #foodie #fyp #travel #Breakfast

Imagine visiting your grandma who’s living on food stamps—not because you’re hungry, but because you feel obligated to check on her—and she insists on making you breakfast. That’s what eating at Sea Biscuit CafĂ© felt like. The coffee tasted like someone brewed it yesterday and then added hot tap water this morning to stretch it. The hash browns? Just sad, irregularly chopped potato chunks that were fried and called a side. The bacon was thinner than a pressed penny and crispier than autumn leaves on a dry day. As for the ribeye—if I had to guess, it was a "manager's special" from the clearance section of the local grocery store, shoved in a freezer and forgotten until today’s breakfast rush. It had that distinct "been through something" texture. The toast was just dried bread essentially. Don't expect it to actually be toasted and browned to perfection. All the condiments were pre-packaged servings like at a truck stop - typical "whipped spread", grape jelly, and non-refrigerated creamer all in those classic plastic wrapped cups. Now, the wait staff—bless them—were kind and sweet, like the grandmas they appeared to be. But if you're in a hurry, or just hoping for refills without having to make eye contact and mime "more, please," you might want to reconsider. Service was warm but slower than molasses in January. In short: Sea Biscuit CafĂ© is charming if you're more interested in nostalgia than quality. But if you're looking for a good breakfast, keep driving.

SUPPORT. YOUR LOCAL RESTURANTS

The Sea Biscuit Is well known and loved by many locals, and it means a lot to them to continue serving this community with the care and integrity it deserves.

They appreciate your patience and support for the staff as they do get very busy for tourist season

Sorry to disappoint you most restaurants have a wait time to get seated. Especially. During tourist season

The staff each one comes from many walks of life Some raised here others are from the north And other parts of the country

They are not rude or slow. They do not have time

The staff is very considerate And reactive to the other customers. The food is not boxed or frozen It is freshly made with fresh ingredients. Not food stamp quality. . And the coffee a new pot is brewed every 10 minutes it doesn't have time to sit there and get stale and it is never. Watered down And further more To the person who said they waited 57 minutes for a drink there. I think not.

Don't blow smoke where smoke shouldn't be

They go around every few minutes and ask how everything is. (This is for the people who like to nitpick ). If you said ok. Good. Ok.

If you lied and said it was ok. But it wasn't. Then that's your problem.

You should have said no this is not up to standard The server would have went and told the owner and they would of taken care of it right there

But you didn't have the courage to respond and say every thing was not right You lied and said everything way ok.

Then you had the balls to write a bad review Shame on you. That's just cowardly

And yes those lady's that work there are grandmas and they work hard. The older generation are the ones who work hard.

They have work ethnics

The young people dont want to work in a mom and pop shop they don't want to actually work for their wages They want a cushy job

So yes the women who work there are grandma's But they work hard to serve your food to you as soon as it comes off the grill

Sorry to disappoint you. It's not Hooters.

To to all the locals that do love the sea Biscuit Please continue to show your support

I myself will continued to go there

I enjoy the food it's fresh not slapped together like a assembly line

Don't let a bad review....

This place is S tier when it comes to food, seriously if you were thinking about getting a sausage and cheese McGriddle from McDonalds do NOT, order the hen with a grin it’s actually one of, if not the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming its uninterpretable how fantastic it tasted, if you told me that I had to be stuck in a house with Gary busey for 32 hours in order to eat this again I would go double or nothing and stay for 64 hours. I did to that chicken and waffles, exactly what Robert Oppenheimer did to Hiroshima. It was unfair how I treated that meal. If this were a workplace then I would definitely be reported to HR for what happened at Sea biscuit cafe on may fourth 2024. If you care about atmosphere, then I’m not sure what to do with you there, don’t come here for atmosphere it’s a restaurant, besides being in the presence of the chicken and waffles is like being within the midst of Jesus Christ himself. I HIGHLY recommend you eat here and do not worry about pricing this isn’t Olive Garden so literally a days paycheck will allow you entry here. If you told me the chicken and waffles was a religious figure I’d worship it day and night and hold annual sacrifices in the...
