Terry's Cafe & Catering — Restaurant in North Carolina

5 stars on the price. The sweet tea had a very good taste. I would like to see them use the white porcelain plates, bowls, coffee mugs again. Cafeteria style. I stopped there because I felt a personal connection in the past but not so much now. I didn't like the Styrofoam plates, bowls, and cups. It just didn't feel like a warm local place anymore. Food was ok but the presentation I wasn't impressed. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Food got there fast. How to improve? One side of restaurant for senior locals to eat, drink coffee, and talk. The other side of the restaurant for shakers and movers. The ones who have to go to work or get back on the road when traveling. Create 5 star bathrooms. Blitz the local newspaper, billboards along the Interstate, and social media. There is alot of potential for this restaurant to be the best around. The question is how far does the owner want to go to be the best around for miles? Good luck...

My spouse and I went in there for dinner, Ordered the barbecue plate… And after waiting for 25 minutes for our food (it was to go), we noticed when we got out to our car that it was missing some parts of the meal (we purchased two BBQ plates with some extra sides) when my spouse went back to inquire about it, as the menu clearly identifies that the plates come with, Salad or coleslaw, A bread of choice, and French fries. Our meals were missing the salad/coleslaw and french fries… He was informed that unless we specifically ask for those two items (that are stated come with the meal on their menu) you don’t get them, even though you’ve paid for them. We then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for two orders of french fries and two orders of coleslaw. I don’t care how good the prices may be, but service like that, no thank you… and the bbq was...

First time here! I stopped here with a wine tour to have lunch. Terry's Cafe is quaint and homey! The cafe reminds me of the very small town cafes in WI where I grew up! Very easy to get to from I-77!

Brooke, our server, was awesome!!! She was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with our orders! Within 5-10 minutes, Brooke started to bring our food to our tables. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries! Some ordered the spaghetti special and hotdog with slaw! The food was delicious!!!! It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking!

Looking forward to coming back with my family and hoping to bring wine tour groups here for lunch!
