The Busted Barrel Cocktail Bar at The Old Nick Williams Distillery — Restaurant in North Carolina

My mom's boyfriend loves whiskey, so for his birthday we wanted to take him to the ones NC has to offer. This place offers a lot more than tastings! This is a full on event venue, petting zoo, and amazing bar! My mom's boyfriend and I had the over killer (you're only allowed two per person, per day), let me tell you, there is a reason. Jarvis (pretty sure I'm misspelling his name) mixed all of our drinks to perfection. This place is perfect for so many occasions, it's hard to name just one. But, I loooved it. We plan to go back during the fall to fully enjoy their outdoor area.

One thing to add, the goat loooooves scratches as well...

I was a bit disappointed, upon entering I was asked if I'd like a cocktail, I said sure, but soon after was left alone until long after my drink was gone. When the owner came in he talked about the history, but I barely got a word in, I was never asked if I'd like another drink or a tasting. By the time the bartender came back I was ready to go. Do the tour! The owners are friendly and very customer focused. Their 'product' is a Gold medal winner and is excellent. Try the Manhattan, neat. I promise, you will not ever be the same. :-)

This is a wonderful place ro come and chill for a few hours. Great relaxed vibe. Go to their website and see what band is playing, and what food truck will be there. I am going back in the summer to the recently built amphitheater.
