Ordered delivery service from Swad recently. It's been a while that I had been to Swad and was longing to taste their diverse menu of dishes. Placed orders of appetizers such as Samosas and a Mulligatawney Chicken mild soup. The entrees, besides also included Chicken Biriyanis' and a Chicken Tikka Masala.

Swad usually never disappoints with their great selections of cuisines, their repeat beckoning and aroma of spices, of course, their great food quality and taste, apart from their apt quantities. Samosas were great with the ideal and fresh natural mint chutney complemented well with their tamarind chutney. The Mulligatawney Soup was very good with lentils and with the nice pick of chicken pieces.

The Chicken Biriyani was really good and you could just sense the rich blend of spices, very fresh and still warm with a great texture of its colors. There were lots of well cooked tender boneless chicken pieces. The Biriyani still had a tinge of the North Indian cooking unlike the popular and authentic Kerala Chicken Biriyani or popularly called the "Dhum Biriyani." The Raitha served separately was great with cucumbers, carrots and yogurt for the Biriyani which would ideally bring down any excess spiciness felt! It's good for digestion!

Last, but not least, the Chicken Tikka Masala looked great with its exquisite mix of spices and also with the gorgeous color. It was wonderfully cooked and tasted great! The Customer Service was excellent as well, when I called them. The person whom I spoke to was very patient, courteous and also was very...

For over 5 years, I've been eating at Swad 1-2 times a month. This is the first time that I changed my review from 4 stars to 2. We now eat at Grace of India. 😋 I have a review on their site. Fire ! Anyway, Swad has went down in quality, quantity & service. Sad to say. Jalfrezi, Choley, Chix Curry, Tikka Masala, Sagg Paneer, etc. : All too thin, bland, below room temperature. Rice: Clumped up, old, below room temp, hard & dry as hell. For as long as I ate here, extra rice is complimentary (if eating in) but now they charge per serving of rice. Without telling you ! During our last visit 4/7/23 The rice was old, stiff, clumbed up & dry as hell. Crunchy & bland garlic nann. Mushy chutney. Table cloth was stainded. Crumbs in the seats. Drinking glasses had fingerprints. The service was terrible in every way. We left without eating. 🙅🏿‍♀️ No way were we paying for that mess ! That was our 3rd bad visit @ Swad this year. I hope the elders train their young folks to do better because they may run the business down. I use to love this place before the young folks took control. They simply don't care...

I love Indian cuisine and try to find a new Indian restaurant each time I travel. I happen on this place from a google search while in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to the quality and selection of food offered on the buffet. Friendly staff, adequate size seating area, and very clean environment. I was lucky enough to find parking on the street right in front of the restaurant. Not being from the area, I do not know what other parking options there are. I highly recommend this place for lunch buffet. I really enjoyed the classic Indian dishes that I am used to seeing, Butter Chicken, Goat Curry, Paneer Saag. The Fresh naan was hot and crispy. The vegetable samosas were smaller than most I have seen at other similar restaurants, but were very nicely spiced. The heat level of all buffet items was minimal which is always welcome when traveling with children. The desert selection did not have rice pudding, but perhaps it was just not on the buffet that day. The chutney's were absolutely mouth watering too. If in the area I would highly recommend Swad...

Very enjoyable food, and very polite service. Danewad, Mr Kamal. The vegetable mango is good but be warned that it is fermented, so this curry is a bit sour and doesn't taste like fresh, sweet mango or even under-ripe mango. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection. The Lentil (dal) soup was delicate and enjoyable. I also had aloo (potato) paratha (baked wheat flatbread). The crushed potatoes were very mildly flavored with spices that I could smell but not taste because it was served late and the vegetable mango was, sadly, strong enough to completely block the flavor of the spices in the aloo. If you order this, aloo samosa or another with mildly spiced potatoes, make sure to eat this first or dip it in sauce. Public, 2-hr parking is to the side, and their parking is in the rear, adequate for the small size of this restaurant.

Small Indian restaurant with a cozy feel. I have ordered pick up from the restaurant several times and dined in once. Friendly staff. Food is always consistent and delicious. I ordered the Vegetable Jalfrezi, garlic Naan and Vegetable Samosa. Everything was delicious and the right amount of spice. Prices are reasonable in comparison to other local Indian restaurants. Definitely recommend if in the area. Parking, a few spots in the front of the building and more in the back of the restaurant.
