Dairy Queen — Restaurant in North Liberty

Dairy Queen is great! We visit about once every couple of months. The North Liberty location is convenient for us.

On this visit we were disappointed that the plain soft serve dish that we purchased for our dog, had some chocolate in the bottom. Luckily, we found that before we gave it to Parker.

Most of the time it is fine, and the blizzards are great! Could use less fudge on the peanut buster parfaits, but to each their own, I guess. Just happy to have...

Standard Dairy Queen, but it could definitely use some updates. You feel like you're back in the 80's & 90's as soon as you walk through the doors. Old pictures of ice cream & food I literally checked the copyright date on a couple of the pictures (1990 & 1987) The pricing board is so old is YELLOW Don't get me wrong, this is a good place for ice cream, I'd just like to see some updates made. Two peanut buster parfaits was over $12 which was enough for us to decide not to visit any longer. Then when we looked at our bank statement, over $14 was actually charged. I imagine it is expensive to have one staff member making deserts while at least three stand there and socialize, but that is no longer going to be an expense we pay for as customers.
