Jose's Compadres — Restaurant in North Little Rock

Only gave 1 star because i had to. Service was not impressive. Server had attitude as soon as we sat down. My family and I ordered our food. I ordered fajita nachos, which I thought was pretty much universal for every Mexican restaurant. Everywhere I have eaten rather it be a Mexican restaurant or a steakhouse, fajitas always come with grilled onions and peppers. My plate came out with about 8 chips with chicken and cheese on them from the microwave. My child's plate was right to my knowledge. My husband's food didn't even taste right. After I bit into my chicken and chip with cheese and realized that they couldn't even manage to make chicken with cheese taste good. I tried to tell the waitress that mine should have grilled onions /peppers on it and she proceeded to ask me if I looked at the menu correctly. Heck all one does is take the dang tortilla out of fajitas and replace it with tortilla chips. How hard is that!?! This is my second time coming to Jose's and the first time was terrible too. My husband and child wanted to eat here and I went in knowing that this was gonna be a good experience because he had eaten here a few weeks before and said it was good. I will never be back and if asked my opinion about Jose's I will most definitely let whoever know what i think...

I ordered a shrimp salad to go, I asked for no refried beans and extra sour cream because I can't eat refried beans..... my "salad" was a Tortilla bowl thing, which it didn't mention on the menu, that I also can't eat (keto) and the bowl was mostly filled with refried beans with basically no salad, and no sour cream with what can best be described as bland, obviously frozen (by the weird texture) shrimp that still has the poop cord in them.... the only reason I give it 1 star (even though there's no option for 0 stars) is because my kids said the chips and salsa was ok, not to spicy, even though there was a large chunk of raw onion at the bottom.

I've been ordering strawberry daiquiris without without the alcohol and add ice cream to it well this makes the third time I got one today I see her with this jug and I asked her what it that is she said oh that's fruit punch and I said that is what you been putting in my Daiquiri yeah I said where is the strawberry daiquiri a we don't have that so I asked her why did you not tell me from the very get-go so each one of these I've had three times cost me 750 a piece when you order something and you asked for it the way you want it that's the way it should come out not with freaking strawberry fruit punch there is a big difference in the cost of strawberry fruit punch and strawberry daiquiri mix so I will never go back there again and there food...
