I had a reservation to sit at the bar one Saturday night. I have been coming to Joeys for a long time and had no issues until this time. I went to sit at my reserved bar seat and there were 3 members (because I asked) and they were spread over at least four seat and I asked for a little more room. They looked at me as if I was an intruder and didn't move an inch. Lucky the hostess was kind and moved me to another seat at the bar and told me that one of the guys (and won't say gentleman) is like that and rude. Now I'm surprized that Joeys won't say anything to him. Tidewater members represent Joeys and should be courteous to outside people trying to come in and have a delightful meal either at the bar or table. I will continue to come to Joeys because the staff is so friendly and the meals are outstanding. But if I run into this situation again, I just might speak up and they...
Read moreI've been a homeowner at Tidewater since 1996 and I've seen so many ups and downs with the restaurant over the years, mostly down. It was great to see new management finally taking over. I mostly order the pork chop dinner and initially it was very good, but last Sunday they severed my wife and myself the thinnest pork chops I've ever seen, they couldn't have been more than a quarter inch thick, if that. Read moreJust ordered 60 dollars on door dash and the only thing I could barely eat was onions rings which were half done. Brown on one side and white on the other. The burgers had pink in them which I had to put in microwave. The fries were soggy. Wings were under cooked which we requested well done. And the worst part...my burger tasted like cologne. I don’t know if the cook put on some heavy perfume while cooking but I could barley eat it it made me nauseous....60 dollars gone...
