Golden Coffee — Restaurant in North Port

The Quality is great the people are very nice! I so want this to work!!

Concern: They are considerably slower than other coffee shops in the area. Strangely, they prepare one espresso and serve one customer at a time each time I have visited. Their approach becomes ineffective when there are 3-4 people in line, leading to a wait of at least 20 minutes.

The order line inside may sometimes face the door, while at other times it faces away from the door, as there’s no space for a line and no clear direction on where to stand. It leads to confusion on where to stand and order and where to pickup drinks.

Again, I love this place but a critique is nevertheless needed so they can adjust their system.

A simple correction is to take all orders in line as they come. After that, hand the tickets to the barista. It’s acceptable for them to manage multiple tickets and orders. As each drink is prepared, place it on the counter immediately and call out the name when it’s ready. If you have three drinks in a single order, you can place each one on the counter as it’s completed rather than waiting to have all three finished. We needed a place for a small meeting and what better than a coffee shop. We found them on Google maps, what a quaint little hidden gem. When you first arrive the shopping does give you the vibe you will get when you open the doors. It is well decorated and welcoming. The place is super clean, the dessert and food options are plenty and the service was top-notch. We orderd coffee, desdert and a sandwich to share. The coffee was brought in a beautiful glass cup to our table along with our dessert. The dessert was a small honey cake that was a whole experience in itself. We then ordered a turkey/bacon croissant that was heated perfectly and delicious. We needed to continue our meeting so we shared a croissant with Nutella and berries. The whole meeting was filled with great coffee, food and conversation until...small kids started running around and screaming. We had to cut it short because the room is not that big. Absolutely love this coffee shop! The espresso is rich and perfectly balanced — you can tell they use quality beans and really care about the craft. Their fresh drinks are super refreshing (highly recommend the iced matcha and fruit spritzers!), and the bakery items are always delicious. Everything tastes homemade and fresh from the oven — especially the croissants and muffins.
