Lucy's Cafe — Restaurant in North Prairie

There are much better choices in town then this place. 1hr delay to get our breakfast. 20 min to just take our order. The waitress is their young daughter who does not have waitress skills nor should she at that age. It's the owners fault. After the 1 hour delay I got burnt/raw hash-browns, yes both ways. I let the lady know and was not offered any compensation. As I walked out the cook/owner came out and explained that they got the wrong potatoes for hash-browns from their vendor, they don't make good hash-browns he says. Still no compensation. I was already in a foul mood so I kept my mouth shut. What I wanted to say was "THEN DON'T SELL HASHBROWNS IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS! Better to tell a customer you won't sell sub standard food then put $hit on the plate if you want to stay in business." After I found out from friends that the hour wait is because they have too small of equipment to handle that size of restaurant. Plan your visit to off hours only and then cross your fingers...

I really really enjoyed the breakfast burrito here. After our camper stove stopped working. We were forced to find breakfast elsewhere and this place looked obscure and we weren't 100% sure that it was going to be good but man was I wrong. Food was outstanding especially the breakfast food I highly highly highly recommend breakfast burrito here. The salsa on it was just okay it tasted like pace salsa which is gross. outside of the mediocre salsa that was provided the food was absolutely outstanding. I'd come back here for breakfast food again. Also FYI your hash browns are on point absolutely love the hash browns. I jammed them into the breakfast burrito and I was in heaven. As a suggestion, I would offer stuffing hash browns into breakfast burritos as an option...

Disappointed! As you scroll through reviews and wonder how this place got near 5 stars. Remember they’re offering a chance at $500 for it. Smug atmosphere, very basic deli menu. We have tried to eat here many times only to find out they’re open 10hrs a week! 12-2pm M-F. We were greeted by a very rude staff member after waiting nearly 10 minutes to be asked if we needed anything. Go somewhere else to eat. I give credit when due but will not stand for fake reviews.
