We thought it would be a great ending to our Labor Day to have some ice cream. Our 9 year old grandson was excited to try a new place. I had been to the Pine Cone just once before and new they hard the hand scooped he loves. We were cared for by Anna, the sweetest lady, who offered samples, patiently waited for him to make his choices and added a wonderful smile as she handed over his treat. Ice cream is tasty and many flavors to choose from. Decent size scoops. Friendly and helpful gal scooping, never felt rushed when choosing, which is so nice these days. She was the only one there, but she could scoop quickly. There was no rush at the time, but if there is, you might have to wait a bit, but worth it. Outside sitting area serene, with some porch swings and wooden chairs - shady areas mid-afternoon. Prices are reasonable- $5.50 milkshakes, $4.50 for 3 scoop cone. This is out first time here.
