I'm on a mission to stop at as many creameries as I can. This is incorporated into my road trips. Today, I stopped at Woodshire Farms Creamery. It has a large area for parking. I saw some baby cows. It has portable toilets, a building that looks like a house with the creamery located next to it. Their ice cream flavor selection is great. They sell the ice cream by it's weight, not by the scoop. This allows me to get as much as I want. I got the Cappuccino Crunch and Cherry Vanilla. They both are delicious. The Cappuccino Crunch has crunchy pieces of toffee, I think. It doesn't have that much crunch in the coffee ice cream. The Cherry Vanilla is the same. It does have huge cherry pieces but mostly vanilla ice cream. This is by far one of the best ice cream I have had, and I have visited almost 29 creamies. Their ice cream is creamy but light. It has a real nice consistency. I really like it. I plan on swing by in my way home to pick up some. š I'm so glad I always have coolers in my car and when I travel. I highly recommend visiting the creamery and get some ice cream. This afternoon they had a band...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were extremely disappointed and frankly disgusted by our visit to Woodside Farm Creamery. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a foul, sour odor that made the whole experience unappetizing before we even ordered. The ice cream, which is supposedly "artisan," was far from fresh. It tasted stale, like it had been sitting in the freezer for far too long.
Our children couldnāt even enjoy their cones because the sugar and waffle cones were stuck to the wrapping paper with what seemed like actual glue completely inedible and frustrating. To make matters worse, the scoops were embarrassingly small considering the steep prices.
Honestly, we've had fresher, tastier organic ice cream from Walmart. The hype around this place is baffling, and it certainly didnāt live up to it. We wonāt be coming back and strongly suggest others save their money and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWoodside Farm Creamery was a place that was on a list I saw on the Internet recently as one of the places you should go to eat ice cream before you die.
As a local in the area, I was impressed by the location as well as the flavors that they had. They don't price by the scoop but rather by weight. It all turns out the same in the end. One scoop was about $3-4 which I expect to pay at a creamery.
I got their chocolate thunder flavor and it was very good. The ice cream was nice and light but also it had a very heavy Coco flavor to it. Overall pretty impressed.
What I will say about this place though is that it was too overhyped for me. The ice cream is definitely of high quality. But it doesn't really beat out places like Udairy or other school's creamery ice cream.
Selection of flavors was great, but overall did not seem that...
