Sbarro — Restaurant in North Stonington

Ordered at 3pm on 1/2/25. The lady working there seemed okay but wasn’t willing to make us a new pizza. I’m not sure if that is the company policy or she was just being lazy. I’ll assume the latter. We wanted a whole large 4 cheese white pizza but she refused to make another one fresh. Claimed she could only make pepperoni or cheese if we wanted the whole pizza. So we just settled for the 6 slices that were already sitting out under the lamp since it was whole. She assured us it was only made 30 minutes ago but the way the pizza looked and tasted, that was a definite lie. She rewarmed it for all of 45 seconds in the oven and threw it in a box for $25. It was dry, cold, hardly any cheese or sauce on it (you can see the 3-4 inches of just crust) and rather tasteless. Never have I ever been to a restaurant that can’t make a fresh pizza if you’re ordering the whole thing. NOWHERE does that and for good reason. This was unacceptable. I’ve gotten fresher and better tasting pizza made at a gas station AND they offer to make a fresh one. I wouldn’t order here ever again. Zero stars for the service and zero stars for the...

This was by far one of the worst places we have ever eaten. We stopped for dinner on 5/2, around 5 pm. The kid that was working came out of the backroom, walked up, and just stood there. He didn't acknowledge us at all. We had pizza that was old and rewarmed, pasta with hardly any sauce, ceaser salad that was soggy and had soft croutons, and tomato and cucumber salad that was spoiled. My daughter ordered a fountain drink. He only filled the cup about halfway and didn't even bother putting ice in it. When we asked questions, the kid talked so quietly that we couldn't even hear him over the glass. He was extremely unprofessional, and it was very evident he didn't want to be there. We ended up throwing 95% of our food out. We also bought something from the truck stop on our way out. The kid at the register was no better. We had to wait for him to finish whatever he was doing on his phone before he helped us. It was such a horrible experience. We will definitely not be back....

I have gone there twice in the last week. The first time we got ziti and chicken Parm with a side of meatballs. My wife got spaghetti with the sausage and peppers and the breadsticks come with it on both meals. We thought it was fantastic, and the price was decent, I noticed while I was there that they sold two large topping pizzas for 29.99. So today I ordered two pepperoni pizzas and went to go pick them up and they were fantastic. I looked at all the food behind the glass counter, and it all looked fresh and good. The salad and all the stuff they had there looked fresh. I only live five minutes away from this place and there isn’t a whole lotta places to eat. I almost wish I would’ve discovered it earlier because this place has been around for years. I recommended it 100%. Keep up the good work, and keep...
