We were looking for a spot that the locals would frequent and we found the perfect place. It's a shame that's it's so far from home, or we'd be regulars. The pork tenderloin was fantastic. Super friendly and very accommodating. We stopped in late and they treated us great. Even sent some of the ham and beans home with us. A great stop.

Food tasted very plain, very slow, hamburger buns for hot ham and fake cheese that doesn’t melt is disappointing. The women who came out when we told the server was very rude not at all professional I don’t recommend and will never be back.

Has the feel of a small town diner. Staff were friendly, prices were reasonable, place was clean. My son and I both got the tenderloin. It was very large, and fairly thick, not just paper thin. So there was a whole lot of food for under $10. However, it had very little flavor. Very bland, really the only taste was whatever condiments you put on it. If you're starving and just want as much food as you can get for as little money as possible, this would be a good choice. I believe it is definitely worth going back to give some of the other menu items a chance, but we won't be getting the tenderloin.... (Also, constructive criticism, I would recommend a sign saying to seat yourself if that is the way you do it. For someone unfamiliar with the restaurant it is uncomfortable and awkward to walk in and not know if you're supposed to sit or wait. A new customer shouldn't have to go out of their way to ask if they sit or not. Also, most places bring the check to the table. If you're not going to do that, that should also be noted at the table or verbally communicated, rather than have a new customer waste their time waiting, and again feel awkward and have to ask. You should go out of the way to make the customer relaxed and comfortable, and these are free and easy ways to...

The lady that owns this place is unbelievable! I placed an order and my husband went to pick it up. They called to say they gave him the wrong order and asked me to get a hold of him. He turns around goes back takes in the “only” bag they had given him. He waits the owner comes out, gives him a new sack. When he gets back, I look and guess what?! It’s missing half our order. So I call, the owner’s granddaughter, proceeds to tell me she know because “he” went off and left the other bag! I said “seriously you’re gonna blame him!” Unbelievable “they” screw up the order ask for my husband to bring it back so they can give it to the right customer! Then they “did not brother to double check” to make sure they gave my husband the correct order! The Second time!!! The owner also blames my husband! She yelled at me on the phone. She yelled at me when I went back. She actually lean towards to intimate, as if she wanted to hit me! Fyi: when my husband was there the owner was arguing with another customer and told the her granddaughter to just hang up on the customer. She should not be allowed to even own a business. Horrible...

Today I ordered the special, Ham and Bean, all you can eat. The food arrived on a plate with segregated sections to keep the individual foods contained. The largest section contained the bean soup, probably not more than half a cup. There was a sliver of cornbread included. The fried potatoes were good. I thought I'd order some more beans and cornbread as I felt I had plenty of room left after eating the small servings. I couldn't get the waitresses attention. She was extremely busy and the only waitress. So I just paid my bill and left. I'll probably be back but not real soon. I need some time to let this memory dim. I've had the fish and tenderloin sandwiches and they're great.

I would drop the all you can eat part and just give the customer a bowl of ham & beans and a decent sized chunk of cornbread with the fried potatoes and a side. This was not...
