Bada Bing Original Italian Ice & Ice Cream — Restaurant in North Topsail Beach

Female server with pit hair…. Walked by our group of 4 and told us she was sold out BUT then walked up to a group of 6 and started serving them. My sister and I walked up and she again told us she was sold out and we said clearly you weren’t when we waved you down. She stated tells us now that she was almost out when we waved her down and she said that she was sold out because we had more people…..1. She had no idea how many of us wanted the Italian ice which was only 2 people and 2. We had 2 less people than the group she served and she served 4 people. Then she proceeded to try and offer us free treats at the shop tonight when she works….no thank you, she probably is t even working tonight but besides that, the fact the she lied and tried to back track and make up a poor excuse to not serve was just unacceptable! I don’t know her reasoning for telling a smaller group she was sold out and then continue to sell to a larger group but, this was a not a good first impression and I won’t be purchasing from this shop in the future nor from the...

Ice cream is made by Hersey's and just renamed by the owner, glad to see the personalized names that someone took the time to give them. Granted the ice cream is very good, but I've been here 3 times on vacation and continue to get jipped. 1st trip I paid for 3 scoops, ended up with a very tiny scoop of the mint chip. 2nd trip I ordered a waffle bowl and got 3 nice large scoops, this was an additional $2 charge though. 3rd trip me and my wife both ordered 3 scoops, we got 3 small scoops in the medium cup and only got charged for two scoops each. With this 3rd trip I think the owner's may of had them cutting portion sizes as the menu was getting smaller as they were running out of ice cream. I will just visit the Seaview Pier restaurant and order ice cream from now on.

I am super disappointed with my experience here. I came here 10 minutes before closing, I waited in line while listening to this rude employee talk about how they were closing at 9 repeatedly. Once we finally reached the window, out of frustration, this employee knocked the card reader off the counter and onto the floor which caused it to break. He then, after messing with the card reader unsuccessfully, shouted that he couldn’t get the card reader to work and maybe next time we show up right before closing the card reader will work, he proceed to slam the window in all of the customers faces.
