Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in North Union Township

Ok so firstly, NO ONE likes to feel like they’ve been misheard or possibly been delivered the wrong order once they have ARRIVED HOME and opened the items. Especially after a long day and you felt this trip to the DQ was your “treat”! Secondly, NO ONE (that I know) wants to call the establishment regarding the disappointment nor drive back with the items! However, the THIRDLY AND LASTLY of this review is the whole reason for writing it! I have been driving through this particular Dairy Queen for years when we want a treat or light meal or snack. The staff is ALWAYS SUPER FRIENDLY and the wait times are ALWAYS EFFICIENT! So this particular day, with the long line in the drive through I figured they were swamped and I hated to call, but I ordered blizzards and they were the consistency of a runny shake. Not good. Upon my call to the establishment, not only did the Manager Gwynn (idk the proper spelling) show sincere concern, empathy and compassion towards me and the situation…. she offered to allow me to come back in ANY time for free replacements of both blizzards. Well I immediately drove back and the Manager herself made the blizzards. She came out spoke with me. An amazing, super friendly person! This is what the goodness of life is all about! On March 12,2020 DQ on Connellsville Street let us host our end of season soccer party. We coach 2 teams age ranges 4-8. We divided the party into the 2 age groups. When we walked in, they offered immediately to help set up tables to our needs, promptly started on the kid’s food, a staff member was checking in frequently on us to make sure we did not need anything. After the kids finished their meals, they let them make their own sundaes! The excitement on their faces was priceless. They were so excited to see how their ice cream gets made! They made our party a huge success and made the memory banks of the children. The parents complimented as well how wonderful the staff was! The DQ as always was super clean, full of friendly helpful staff. We look forward to hosting next years end of season soccer party there. With the service and the price, we can’t beat it! I ordered an Moolatte on the app and when I got to the store to pick it up I was told they didn't have ice cream so they only said to go on the app to request a refund, which I die when I got back to work. They only offered a slushie as a replacement- which was over a dollar less than what I paid. I attempted to get a refund through the app which I ended up emailing the company. As of today I still haven't heard back and it's been a week. My coworker had the same problem that day as well. If I order from them again it will be at the store and not on the app. I would have been ok with a receipt hand written that said I was owed a large Moolatte so i could go back...
