Mama's Pizza III — Restaurant in North Whitehall Township

Edit 5/4/23 I think that a fix to this issue, would be to rename the Neopolitan Special to Supreme Pizza. Having two similarly named pizzas, is asking for an order to get messed up. Which it usually does when ordering it online. A ticket probably prints out and they just see Neopolitan, and start making a cheese pizza

Order from here all the time. Great pizza. The problem is the online ordering. Multiple times I have ordered through the 'Slice App', and the order has been delivered wrong. Often I have ordered a Neapolitan Pizza + Neopolitan Supreme, only to receive 2 Cheese Pizzas. Or Order a Neopolitan Supreme with anchovies on half, only to receive a half cheese / half anchovies pizza?? They need to take the time to read the order fully. It should register in their minds, that a cheese pizza, shouldn't cost $26, and a flag should go off, that they aren't making pizza for the order. They have been responsive when I call to fix it, offering to refund the difference between the cheese to supreme cost difference, but I would rather, just have them make the correct order in the first place. I was going to order two italian meals for delivery and use a $5.00 off coupon. I wanted to order two baked ziti with sauce & cheese $13.95 each. I was also going to add a side of meatballs & a side of sausage . I will guess these would be $3.00 each and $1.00 for delivery.So that makes my total $31.95. I asked about a $5.00 off second meal coupon , and was told that’s for dine in only , so I did not order. Had I ordered I believe my total would have been $26.95 ,( if they had accepted the coupon ). The food quality is ok , the salads include meat & black olives (similar to a chef salad ? ) I called a Vannys pizza in Coplay & was able to get Two ziti dinners, one with meatballs & one with sausage for under $16.00 including free delivery. The salads were basic , lettuce , onion, tomato. The food quality was good. I don’t think it was worth it to drive to Egypt for the $5.00 off coupon. If the person taking the order had allowed the coupon they would have had a sale. So in conclusion I saved over $16.00 on delivery and had my food delivered. Mamas lost a sale, and probably customer. We have ordered through here for years at least once a week. Ordered tonight was told 45 minutes. After an hour, we called and they said they were on their way. An hour and 15 minutes later, we called and they said again they were on their way, called again at an hour and a half and were told AGAIN they were on their way. My husband told them to cancel the order and I could hear the guy yelling at my husband on the phone. I understand things happen, I get being short staffed but where is the customer service? If we knew it was going to take that long, we would have juat ran and picked it up but figured we could get a few things done while waiting for the delivery.
