It pains me to write this post. Iâve been a life long customer of Scottiâs. Ever since I was a kid and Scott would always remember I liked ketchup on the top of my hot dog while my sister liked ketchup on the bottom and remembered ever customer by name. Fast forward to when Amanda took over. She kept the place going strong, always friendly and also always greeted customers by name.
Sadly, those days are gone. In 2022 the place was sold to Larrat Williams. The place had very short hours, and an even shorter season. There was a huge lack of communication to customers in terms of when theyâd be open and so on. Now, this year (2023), they had indicated they were working on online ordering and getting things ready to open (per their Facebook page); however, here we are, itâs July and they refuse to acknowledge they arenât opening. Larrat will post things about golf being open or closed due to weather, but radio silence when customers ask if they will be opening for food anytime soonâŚ
This absolute disappointment and poor business practice (this business link now says Scottiâs Golf, but still classifies it as an American Restaurant with Dine-In and Take-Out services, which is false and misleading as of this year). If this is how the new owner chooses to run a business then I will never support any of their current or future endeavors as this is not the the type of individual I want to see in business.
A Leeds institution is forever gone⌠R.I.P. Scottiâs⌠I will...
Read moreThis is a very good place for getting variety of hot dogs, burgers, grinders, sides and also ice creams. They offer a very tasty and freshly prepared dishes at a decent price. It feels satisfying after eating here as there is always value for money. Its location is not inside a town or city but yet there are people queuing to order and taste the delicious dishes. It is located near a golf course. So one can leisurely play and eat or vice versa. Even though it's in a sort of a highway it has a very nice open atmosphere eating place offering a feel good feeling with the natural air blowing while eating. There is a restroom too for both men and women at the back of the shop with a room for one person at a time. The staff are so kind as they patiently explain all the queries of all the customers about the dishes, the ingredients and many others too, and their services are very good and also there is no much delayed waiting needed after ordering. Overall it is a good place for stopping by and having a quick, delicious dishes while riding...
Read moreGood food, with a view, at a reasonable price! This seasonal roadside drive-in with outdoor covered seating enables you to watch the golfers practice at the driving range while you enjoy some of the best fries, onion rings and ice cream around. The rest of the food is put out quickly by a friendly staff who turns out some great sandwiches and fried foods you would expect at such a stand. Yes, the ordering line can be long during peak periods, but that is a sign of what a gem this is. If picnic tables fill, get back to your car, roll the windows down and Still enjoy the break from driving. It's just too bad this local favorite has an off-season, closing for the winter in late October and re-opening in April. Like those earliest spring flowers, we gauge the coming of Summer when a family member comes home one day announcing,...
