I've waited a long time to write this review, but I felt the need to share my experience. I ordered Josh's catering for a family celebration, and even though some of the food was terrible, I stayed silent until a few guests asked me if I was going to call the place who provided the food and tell them how horrible it was. I felt I owed it to Josh to let him know what happened. I ordered 2 pans of pasta, which was dry, stuck together, had almost no sauce and no flavor, and completely inedible. So I did call and explain this to Josh. There was nothing I could do to change this embarrassing situation, but I thought it was reasonable to request a refund of the pans of pasta (not for the cost of the other dishes I ordered, which were fine.) He agreed to send me a check (I declined his offer for credit and said I could never take that kind of risk again) and never did. I called 4 or 5 times and he never answered and never returned my calls. After he agreed to the refund, he learned that this order was scheduled for a 4 pm pick up, the food didn't leave his restaurant until 4:30 and we didn't eat until 5; he said that this delay was to blame and just never paid me/never spoke to me again. I just can't imagine that a pan of pasta would be fine at 4 and inedible at 5. I believe a catering order such as this is expected to remain edible for a while, at least while guests are eating at a buffet and, if the food tastes good, probably returning for more. I had to throw out all of one pan and 3/4 of the other, as no one ate what they had put on their plate, and certainly wouldn't have wanted more. I hope other people who take a chance on catering from Josh's have a better experience, but mine was awful, both the food and also my attempts to address it. I will never try their food again, and neither will anyone who attended my mother's...
Read moreI definitely like this restaurant. I stopped in here for a while, and this isn't my first visit. It may not be a big restaurant, but the food is really good. I remember going here for the first time, and it was such a good experience. The service was friendly, and the food was good. That is almost the same as my experience in the restaurant recently, except that on my recent visit, the place was full and it was literally crowded, but the service was still quick and I was able to eat after just a few minutes of ordering. They not only have good food and good service, but they also have a wide variety of options on their menu, so I could get anything I wanted, and the prices are reasonable and the portions are good. Also, even if it is crowded and full, the place is still clean, which is really nice because even in that situation, I still choose to eat inside because I feel like the food is more enjoyable when I eat it inside the restaurant, and somehow it really is. This small restaurant is definitely a spot that really should be...
Read moreI’m so glad that tonight I actually remembered to get the Friday night ribs special tonight. I have lived about 10 minutes from Josh’s for a long time and have always meant to check it out. Then when I kept hearing people talk about their great rib special I wanted to try it but kept forgetting on Fridays! Well lucky for me I remembered tonight. I got the full slab special for $20 and it’s normally almost $30. The ribs were so good I would absolutely pay the $30 if I was craving ribs. They do them perfect and the fries were extra good with a side of the merkts cheese. I’m not a fan of coleslaw but they give you a lot if you like it! We also got a gyro and a pizza puff, and they were both very good. I love pizza puffs but if a place has dirty oil you can taste it and it ruins the pizza puffs taste but you can tell their oil was clean and new cause the pizza puff was perfection. We will...
