I ordered 2 Paneer Tikka Masalas, and they were made on time. When I sat down to eat, I bit into a piece of chicken. As a vegetarian, I donāt eat chicken or any kind of meat, so I was very confused. The box even had Paneer Tikka Masala written on it.
I called the restaurant, but no one understood me on the phone, even when I was placing the first order. I had to basically yell so they wouldnāt give me chicken both calls, which is ironic because thatās what they gave me.
They told me to bring it back and said they would give me a new one. I went back and explained that I canāt eat meat and that this mistake was unacceptable. They replaced the food and offered me a free entree the next time I ordered. But when I got home and tried the new food, it was VERY salty and not the best Indian food Iāve had.
Problems: No one understood me on the phone, and I had to yell to ensure they didnāt mess up before ordering and after I received the wrong order. It took several people to identify whether the piece was chicken was chicken, which is very concerning
I will most likely not be coming back. Raj Palace on 6 Mile in Livonia is much better and doesnāt make these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAthidhi Indian Cuisine, a recent addition to Northville, can be considered a Jewel in the Crown (of Indian restaurants ) serving the Northville community, for its taste, ambience and exotic food variety serving Sea food, Non vegetarian and Vegetarian varieties.
Had an opportunity to visit this restaurant to celebrate an friends anniversary and was overwhelmed with the variety and taste of food. The food was cooked with fresh ingredients and served hot, which gave a excellent taste for taste buds . The cook has enriched the food with rich choice of Indian spices (Some of those very special available from Malabar regions of south India), which brought back the nostalgic memories of south Indian food.
Few suggestions, include to have detailed descriptive ingredients of food to help people decide about allergic ingredients, and should also provide some optional ingredients for the customer based on their preferences. Would help to some pictures of each of the cuisine for everyone to know the kind of food you might get once you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my only experience with Indian food. I looked at the menu before going in to order takeout. Lots of googling on my end š but when we went in we told the man behind the counter we didnāt know what everything was and he was so helpful. He explained what everything was and made suggestions. I got the paneer tika masala curry and my bf got the lamp curry and we shared chicken 65. We asked for mild and the heat was tolerable. We knew going in that the food would be spicy. We also mango Lissa I think. He told us how to say it but I forgot. The food was great and the service was great. The smells in there will make you hungry. Long story short you can walk in with no knowledge and they are very good at helping. And the food tastes great. Iāve lived in southeast Michigan my whole life and never had authentic Indian food. So this is a nice change from the...
