Need a new lunch spot? Then you need to check out Shawarma Inn 2. Shawarma Inn 2 would be great for any time of day, but you should definitely take advantage of their lunch specials! They pack a generous amount of food for less than $15, and it comes with a drink. Outside of that, their normal prices won't break the bank either. You definitely get your money's worth when you eat here. And not to mention the food is delicious! Even when I had it as leftovers, no flavor was lost. My favorite dish by far was the lentil soup -- best I've ever had!

The restaurant is pretty spacious, so it's great for larger parties or wheelchair mobility. There's plenty of neighborhood street parking, or there's a shopping center across the street you can park at. Fair warning, the restaurant does not have AC, but it's not stuffy or too hot either. The staff is beyond friendly with catering to large parties and young children. Despite being a party of over 8 people, we were able to pay individually no problem, which was super convenient for us. I'd highly recommend Shawarma Inn 2 for anyone, even remotely, considering...

The food was cardboard, soup was cold. The waitresses were great. The chef was horrible. We constantly heard him yelling at the poor servers. One time he yelled at her because it was almost closing time and she took an order over the phone. He also had another order that he told them he wouldn't start until the person got there. They got our order wrong and he refused to correct it and all he had to do was literally scoop the chicken shawoorma into bread to make it a sandwich. He was very disrespectful. I will never go there again because the chef didn't know how to cook and burned everything and what he didn't burn was fat stuck on the meat. His food had no taste. The only reason I would go back there is to write another review of how horrible that guy was. If u go there u can't miss him, it's the guy with 1 eyebrow. Again the servers were great and to no fault of theirs was this guy a complete * They have another location in Chicago on Lincoln. Much better service and much...

Ok, I am going to be brutally honest here. I had this place rated 5 stars for a year, I now have to share some disturbing news. Ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, asked for extra chicken the $3 portion more, ( I have done this several times) when I picked it up, it seemed like the wrap was missing the extra shawarma, so I walked back in and the lady said after I asked " it's in the wrap" I said " ok". I did not believe her at all as she seemed somewhat brash. So we decided to order another one , no extra meat under another name 15 minutes later. As I suspected after we opened the wraps side by side they were equal portions. I am talking maybe a sliver more in the one that DID NOT pay for the extra meat. Needless to say, if your that desperate for my $3 dollars, you can gladly keep it, but have lost all future business due to your lack of integrity, your lie directly to my face and more importantly selling and misleading your guest. What a let down for $3...

My second time eating at this place and I was very surprised with how different (bad) this experience was from the first time I ate there. The first time I had the Kifta and Chicken combo which was tasty and cooked just right as it should be, this time I had the Cream Chicken Chop which was fried so hard I couldn't even cut it, and a side side of Kifta which was also over done and both were lacking spices, everything lacked flavor, the hummus tasted only of garbanzo beans and oil, the falafel were crispy hard on the out side and doughy inside which means they need to turn down the fryer so it cooks inside before the outside gets gets rock hard, even I know that. You also have to buy a half dozen falafel, they won't sell it by the piece? We wanted 8 peices but had to buy a dozen for $14.95 Based on the inconsistencies I can not say I'd take a chance going there again, as there are many solid Middle Eastern place within 10 minutes of Shawarma Inn

Wow, this place has incredible middle eastern food...The lentil soup is great...It wasn't overpowering with lemon...It was silky smooth...I had the combination plate and it is overwhelmingly stuffed with yummy goodness...There is so much food on the plate... Plenty to take home...The kefta kabob was perfectly seasoned and grilled...The beef shawarma was of good quality and well seasoned...We also had the chicken shawarma and that too was tasty...The restaurant is big, clean with a lot of windows...The staff was extremely helpful when ordering and nice...You will definitely be pleased with what they have to offer...I'll be back if I haven't already...
