Donut King — Restaurant in Norwood

Ok, so first off, the owner is so nice. He gave me some glazed donut holes for free with my mixed dozen.

Also, he told me that the donuts are ALL dairy and nut free. So, it's a huge win for my kid who loves donuts, but has a bunch of allergies.

Finally, I went at the end of the day. I only got the yeast donuts. They are fluffy and have a nice chew - like not overly soft. And despite it being the end of the day (5:30pm) donuts, they were still extremely delicious.

This place seems so unassuming, and if i'm honest, the decor isn't exactly exciting. Seems like the guy who runs it went shopping on Amazon for some donut-like stuff and called it a day. Haha...

Lemme tell you though, these are some of the best donuts i've ever had in my life. AMAZING.

I want to say this guy needs better PR, but then again, he's apparently been doing this for like 20 years, so i guess he's doing...

This humble shop is such a delight, and very reasonably priced.

There's a variety of donut (doughnut?) styles to pick from, and it's fun to mix things up, but in contrast to gaudier donut styles that are often trending, the simple glazed donut they make here is just so delectable that it's becoming our staple, "go-to", donut.
