Mama Tina’s is a wonderful little fruit stand that’s absolutely worth pulling over for if you’re driving through Laie. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the experience. The fruits are extremely fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor—perfect for a quick snack or to take with you for the road. I highly recommend trying their tropical fruit smoothie—it’s refreshing, naturally sweet, and packed with island flavor. Whether you’re craving fresh pineapple, papaya, or just want to cool down with something delicious, Mama Tina’s is a great local stop. A true hidden gem along the highway!

Piss poor cooking, we pre ordered after being yelled at for WHERE IS YOUR MONEY. I didn't purchase the food, DO NOT BUY TONGAN FOOD here, the Tongan food we received was 95% vegetarian and 5% meat when we ordered the lu sipi, this is lamb and taro leaves with coconut cream and onions, but hardly any coconut cream, barely any lamb, and the greens was spinach not taro leaves as we expected. Her drinks tho are a hit, both the coconut and the Otai (Tongan fruit drink with milk and sugar). Do not buy Tongan food here it is not worth it, the female owner was complaining about pre order and how people rip her off when we were shorted the coconut cream, meat, and actual lu leaves. No wonder no one orders food from you and she kept postponing our pick up time because it rained and her stove was not working. Since when is Mother Nature to blame for pre-order? Build a water proof cover to conduct cooking and be...

Mama Tina’s Otai is everything! We visited her stand THREE times when we were visiting because we couldn’t get enough of her Otai. The flavor she’s able to obtain is phenomenal. It’s sweet, tangy, juicy, refreshing, and bursting with bits of fresh fruit in every sip. It hits the spot every time. She also had an array of fresh coconut, mango, and papaya of which we also bought and they were equally delicious. The price is worth it, you will not be disappointed- we will be coming back...
