Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Oʻahu

Tried to do the survey but they dont allow over 1200 characters so I decided to post on here instead. On multiple occasions they have been out of mild chicken so each time I've had to wait about 15 minutes for my order to be made and to be honest this has discourage me multiple times to return to this location quite frankly I continue to go back only cuz my daughter likes the chicken if it was up to me probably would not go anymore. Second they have made my order wrong numerous times. My wife has a phobia of chicken wings she becomes really uneasy at the sight of them to the point where she will not eat the chicken that was in the box with the wings. I asked for my order to not have chicken wings twice and somehow they still made it into the box. Yes I know I should probably check the box before I leave and I normally do on this occasion I had already waited 15 minutes and my mind was somewhere else but I do believe that if I ask for something to be done a certain way I shouldn't have to check it especially if I've repeated myself in an effort to try to ensure the accuracy of the order. Finally the drive-thru at this location is blocked in by concrete so once in line you cannot exit once you make your way to the ordering speaker and you find out that they do not have what you need there's no way to exit without continuing to wait in line for everybody in front of you to get their order this is really annoying and I'm sure it's some sort of tactic to ensure people do not drive off once they're in line. I do not agree with this tactic but it is what it is. The problem this is at when I ordered I was notified that they did not have mild chicken their next suggestion was to Buy spicy chicken and get mild chicken strips on the side that means I would have to pay more then what I had anticipated in paying. This suggestion made no sense to me if anything they should have offered to give me some chicken strips for free because they did not have regular mild chicken available. Why would I have to purchase extra items to fill the void that the restaurant has inflicted on self and at the same time force me to continue to stay in the same line cuz I cannot drive out of line because it's a concrete sidewalk barriers. And again yes I understand I could have just gone somewhere else and not ordered but I thought it would take me longer than 15 minutes leave and go to another location and order something else so I decided to wait for my order to be fulfilled only to find out later once I got home that my order was done wrong anyways. ...

I visited the Popeyes located in Schofield. I was disappointed to find out that their fryer was not fixed yet!! The young lady that was there, she was very rude. She could also barely speak English. This was the first time that I encountered a rude employee there.

Since the Popeyes in Schofield was not in operation. I went to the one in Waipahu. This location was not so bad. They need to work on their customer service skills, and getting their products out to their customers on time. They seem to talk to much to each other while they are working.

The chicken, chicken tenders, biscuits, and Mac and cheese that I bought. They were hot and fresh. (My family enjoyed that) I had no complaints there. The chicken sandwich I bought for my dad was not so great. The bun was soggy, and the chicken was actually over cooked.

Overall, both locations were "OKAY and NOT SO OKAY." it's a fast food place...I shouldn't have expected 5 Star ⭐...

It could be a hit or miss. It just depends when you go. We normally get the following, spicy chicken sandwich meal, popcorn shrimp, 2 piece combo meal with wings, desserts, mash potatoes, and sweet teas. The last time we went through the drive thru, they had us park in the stall. The lady came out and asked what we got. No drinks were given. We had to go inside to get it. The whole point of going through the drive thru is too not get out of the vehicle. The person that was waiting next to us, had to go in as well cause some of her stuff was missing. I've been to this location many times, I think they need a night crew that pays attention. I say it's a hit or miss because some employees are really nice and some act like they don't want to be there. Also, food might have ran out or food taste like it's been sitting out for a while.
