Big T Deli — Restaurant in O’Fallon

I decided to go to this place for lunch after reading the positive reviews. However, I ended up being disappointed with my tuna salad sandwich. It had a little too much mayo for my taste, and they made it with white bread even though I had asked for wheat bread. Moreover, we waited for our food at the drive through window for 15-20 minutes, which seems like quite a long time. If you go here, I recommend ordering something other than the tuna salad sandwich and going inside to order. Maybe their service is better when...

Very very nice. Something you don't expect when you go into a gas station. It's not advertised very heavily on the side of the building but the sandwiches are wonderful and they're loaded with meat and cheese and whatever else you want. They also have excellent potato salad just like it was homemade. I wish they were open 24 hours but I guess I limiting the time that they're open they are able to make the food that much better and that much more...

So first off I'm not trying to be hard on them. I first ordered a roast beef King and it was different, I did not like the seasoning or homemade Au jus. They were out of provel cheese and steak. The sandwich was small and had me thinking it must have been that seasoning so I ordered a bbq pork steak sandwich. Needless to say it was probably a week old dry and horrible.
