Backwoods Burgers — Restaurant in Oakdale

Backwoods Burgers Is an amazing restaurant they serve more than burgers. All the burgers are priced at 12 dollars, the fries are separate. The quality and the presentation are absolutely 5 star rating the fries are fantastic they have different varieties. I tried the cajon style recipe was a little spicy but not too hot. I purchased the tumbleweed but because I do not care for hot I asked for a different cheese then the pepper jack, I also added blue cheese crumbles. This was again amazing beyond belief first the price then the quality just surpassed any other hands down. My wife ordered the ground chicken burger and she loved it as well. She also ordered the zucchini sticks which are perfectly seasoned and fried they add Parmesan cheese that just works for a different flavor. We also ordered banana cream cheesecake again just amazing, this is now and for a very long time will be my favorite above all. The owner also has a breakfast restaurant that I will be trying very soon. The owner also has a creamery ice cream shop in the same parking lot, this is so full rounded you absolutely cannot go wrong with choosing your meal rather it's break, or lunch and dinner, or just a ice cream...

We decided to make a fun day trip to the central valley from the Bay area. If you have never been to Oakdale, it’s the “cowboy capital of the world”. Don’t worry the city is very modernized. Be sure to check out the Cowboy museum and then a delicious meal at Backwoodsburgers afterward. I'm definitely coming back to check out one of the Rodeos.

If you love a big fat juicy burger like me, then you gotta try Backwood Burgers. The Big Kahuna is a must-try, along with their delicious impossible burgers/ sliders for those who are vegetarians.

Don’t forget their refreshing drinks, yummy sides, and delicious desserts. The Orange Dream Slushy was my favorite, if I didn't have to drive, I would have gotten another one. The hush puppies were delish, but the Sweet Potato Fries w/ Marshmallow Fluff was so good together. Last but not least, the delicious desserts, I would drive back just to have the banana pudding.

Stopped in here on a whim after visiting the local pumpkin patch. My daughter & I both ordered the chicken strip kids meal. My daughter got garlic fries & they were delicious! I got sweet potato fries & they were equally as delicious! They came with a side of marshmallow cream. I'd never tried it before. It's not my favorite personally, but if sweet is your thing, you'd probably love it. Unfortunately the chicken strip were waaayy overcooked. That was disappointing. I do appreciate the fact that they let me order from the kids menu. The restaurant itself & the restrooms were not that clean, but the service was great! The staff was very friendly & attentive. I didn't like the fact that they had so many TVs in one room. There were five & they were all playing 3 different shows. The music was really loud. Made it hard to converse & focus with so much loud & visual distractions. Not sure why restaurants can't just offer great food & service instead of so much media...
