Sisters Kitchen — Restaurant in Oakes

I seriously love this place! I started coming here when I first got placed in Oakes for work and ever since, I’ve always looked forward to eat here for future trips. It never disappoints, it has great food (and it isn’t expensive/it doesn’t take forever), friendly staff, and clean tables for new customers to seat themselves at anytime! Seems like it’s a big hit in this town because usually around lunch time, there’ll be a fair amount of customers in there and I don’t blame em, it’s a good place to get some good quick food! If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a bite, I’d really recommend Sisters...

It should get 4.5 stars because it was really delicious food. We enjoyed their Sunday buffet - Salisbury steak, gravy, mashed potatoes - and encountered a good deal of friendly atmosphere. Small town cafes like this are what makes our country great in its local flavor, and speaking of flavor the dessert was pretty good, too. Could easily get addicted and hope to research their German food day buffet if I'm within a 3-state radius. Staff worked hard to keep tables clean and overheated forks were generally replaced in speedy fashion. Will definitely revisit this...

It is my first time to eat here since it became Sister's Kitchen. The waitress was really nice. The burgers that my husband and son had was good according to them. I had porkchops but I was not very impressed. It kind of lack flavor. The criss cut was good though, I liked it. This is a restaurant in small town Oakes, ND so the environment...
