Tl;dr bad coffee and bad service I ordered a pound of Colombian Supremo decaf. A few days went by and I didn't hear anything about when it would be ready, so I emailed them. I got an email telling me it would be ready the following day. I went to pick it up and it was not ready, but they promptly took care of me. They grabbed a random empty bag, went into the roasting area, and filled it up. They put a white sticker on it to show what was inside. I got it home and waited a week to rest the beans (I make espresso). See photos of what I encountered. A huge variance in size and roast level along with lots of quakers and broken pieces. I think they must have scooped me some random leftovers from the bottom of several bags. The coffee was extremely burnt. It tasted like an oil well fire. I am experienced with making good espresso and no matter what I did, it tasted terrible. I tried a pour over. It was also terrible. I finally made a bunch of cold brew to use it up. It's...fine but not good. I sent an email asking questions about the beans but received no response. I have to conclude that these folks don't really care about quality coffee. They are going for cheap supply at high volume. I won't be back.

This is a coffee wholesaler. I remember their first coffee that I had back in high school at the bagel shop that I worked at - Simply Sinful. It was delicious- a blend of chocolate, hazelnut, caramel, and vanilla with a rich aroma but not syrupy or sweet. Fast forward to 10 years later- I’m working a 9-5 and I have coffee everyday before work. You know when you taste a meal and you just keep thinking about that meal even YEARS down the line? Well, I’d have my coffee (beans from the grocery store or other wholesalers) and sometimes I just kept thinking back to that coffee I had back in high school- Simply Sinful!

I thought the only way I’d be able to have this coffee again was by driving to my bagel shop from my home town. That was out of the question because I was living in Jersey City and the shop was an hour away. Then I thought back and remembered that the bags of coffee had a logo “Coffee Roasters”. I go online and to my amazement, I find out they had an online store! I order Simply Sinful and a few other types to try.

After that- it was pretty much destiny. My fiancé and I order about 8 lb of their coffee every 1-2 months and we’ve done this for about 2 years now. We use their coffee to make espresso, cappuccinos, cold brew, and regular roast. Sometimes, I forget to order their coffee and we have to buy coffee from the store. It’s never the same and I realize then how spoiled we are for our fresh coffee with Coffee Roasters. We talk about how rarely we buy coffee to-go from coffee shops because our coffee at home is so good. I think that speaks a lot that we were living in Jersey City with a plethora of coffee shops within walking distance but still just making our delicious, aromatic coffee at home everyday just because it was our favorite.

And yes if you are wondering I still order the Simply Sinful all the time! But they have so many other types I order too that are equally amazing. Fresh coffee sold by friendly people with excellent...

Seen alot of good reviews with the previous owners. Its a shame new owners can't have the same work ethic as the previous owners. Before I ordered my first time I called to see how long it takes from ordering to shipping. Was told 2 weeks. Here it is 3 weeks later and no coffee has been shipped to my address. I even called and got the excuse we ran out of coffee and going to get orders filled that day and then on Monday. Plus it would be nice if they answered emails that are sent on the website. You can only send an email on their website. Update 10/26/26 you have to use the email that is in the order conformation email to contact them. Can't use the email addresse thats on the website. Not much in helping out their customers. You can sense they dont want to be bothered. Don't know why people would run a business that deals with the public when they dont want to help their customers. Next step will be to FTC and NJ States Attorney General about them. Plus any news media that wants to publish a story on how this company steals from customers. And i don't make threats about reporting this company. In fact this is an update on 11/4/25. I have contacted BBB, NJ States Attorney General, and a couple of news media. Just waiting on the news media to respond if they want a story about this business stealing money...
