Holiday Bowl — Local services in Oakland

I recently had an experience where the 20 something year old manager, or so she calls herself, felt it necessary to ask us to leave based only on the words of a league bowler. Clearly, the management at Holiday Bowl is inexperienced and very junior in their experiences. And it is also clear that based on the opinion of a crazy league bowler, management will always take the side of the league participant (because they are friends). I still enjoyed my time there, especially since we only needed to pay for 1game, based on their stupid actions. This did not ruin our night, but only enhanced the comedic factor due to the humorous actions and management capabilities of Holiday Bowl...I recommend this place only if you need a good laugh!!!...disappointment for a local establishment!!!! but thank you for the laugh league bowler...you know you are!!!!...

Had a birthday party here for my granddaughters 10th. We had 20 plus some parents stayed. Bowling was great, food was great, but I wasn’t too happy when it came to the cake. They gave us a 6” round cake for 20 kids. When I asked they claimed because I didn’t have a final head count. If I say it’s a party for around 20 and I was charged for 20 kids to bowl, 20 to eat, I should get a cake for 20. It was an ice cream cake, they had some in the freezer in our party room, just keep a large one on hand, it didn’t have to have writing on it, I could have done that myself. We had my daughter's 8th birthday party here this Friday night and everything was perfect. Sandi was very helpful planning the party, she was able to adjust the menu for food allergies and was great with the changing number of kids. When we arrived our party host, Emma, had the kids shoes all ready and the names already on our lanes. Emma was kind, organized and warm with the kids. The adults enjoyed food and drinks from the bar while the kids had a great time bowling and dinner in the party room.
