We have absolutely nothing but the best things to say about James and Curryous catering. James catered our wedding of about 150 people in the Petaluma area in September 2022. We had reached out to about 50 vendors looking for someone to cater our Indian wedding, but James stood out immediately during our initial conversations - he was responsive, thoughtful, and committed to making sure our event went perfectly. He had us over to his place to try a broad range of homemade dishes and figure out what might fit best for our menu. Not only was the food amazing, but maybe even more importantly to us, we just really loved James and his passion for food and people.

In planning our wedding, we really focused on finding vendors who were kind people and genuinely fun to work with - if that resonates with you, James is your guy. And the food was absolutely amazing. We have had many friends tell us it was some of the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. We also can't thank him enough for his flexibility in accommodating multiple changes to the menu (often after we had already said it was the last change). Any our venue - who had never previously worked with Curryous - was so impressed that they were excited at the idea of having him come back for future weddings. James is the best! I worked with James for my Fiji Indian pre-wedding events and the whole experience was fantastic. He is the most professional and highest-quality Fiji Indian caterer in the Bay Area and strikes the perfect balance between traditional flavors, understanding of the culture, and professionalism. He is very responsive and was easy to communicate with from the moment we submitted our inquiry. It was wonderful designing the menus together and chatting during our tasting. He considered all our requests (including a fully vegetarian/no onion/no garlic menu) and executed everything perfectly.

Incredible experience! There was never a moment working with James that we didn't feel like we were in good hands. From an amazing tasting where James made us feel at home, while we were served some of the best food we ever had, to his effort tracking down options that weren't in his services that he didn't usually provide, James continued to go above and beyond.
