The prices are phenomenal. Many good specials, having parking is a plus and service was good. However, that being said, the food was TRASH! I don't believe this place is still Black owned. I saw not one Black person in the kitchen, and the food reflected that. I ordered snapper, whiting, and fried okra. Everything was incredibly salty, and the fish tasted fishy, and it was rubbery indicating that it wasn't the freshest. Even the fries tasted old. They gave you a generous amount of fried okra, but again, it was salty. Many people don't SEASON their food, and all they're used to is salt/season salt; if this is you, then perhaps this will appeal to you. However, there's no excuse for serving old fish and frying it too hard. I ate a tiny bit of everything, and I just couldn't stomach it. I salvaged the coleslaw and threw everything else away. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was swimming in grease/margarine. We both agreed that the food was bad and we should have gotten bbq as originally...

Read moreGreat food. I ordered the chicken tenders combo with fries and my friend and I shared a peach cobbler. All of which was very good. It tasted homemade especially the peach cobbler.
The only suggestion I would make for improvement is if the peach cobbler was also offered warm and or a la mode. As it is currently served around room temperature.
The chicken was good, yet it was a little bit dry and a little spicier than I prefer yet it was still very tasty and I would eat it there again. My recommendation would be for them to offer a selection of meat flavors. such as spicy, regular, BBQ, and sweet BBQ perhaps? I also wish they offered more dipping sauce selections such as honey mustard.
All in all...
