It just so happens that after I placed my pick up order I realized I had forgotten my wallet so I called them to ask if they would take another payment method and they told me they could not do that. I asked how much it would be and I was told $10. I just happened to find $10 worth of change from quarters I keep in my car for meters and stuff. When I get there they told me it was actually $20.00 because I had gotten the taco plate. I was like oh my. Ok. I only have $10.00. The older blonde dyed hair lady sighed and rolled her eyes and was super rude. She told me: "Thats not even enough for the tacos". I was like... I think it is? She didn't say anything, she took the tacos from the box and shoved them in a different box and snapped at the other young lady staff to "Just ring it up for tacos" and was super annoyed I was going to pay in change and then walked off all snooty.
Forgetting my wallet isn't common for me, but it can happen to anyone. In the one other place it happened to me, the staff was really kind and told me I was a good customer and not worry about it, that I could pay back another time I went in. I absolutely did and I'm a loyal customer.
I left with a very sour taste in my mouth. And unfortunately I do not plan on returning. I understand business is business, but I've had amazing customer service other places and this was not it. There are hundreds of other businesses that would gladly take me as a customer and treat me right.
Losing a frequent customer over a side of rice and beans is pretty stupid.
I'm sorry if the owner reads this and feels bad because they knew nothing of this. But its important to know how your staff treat customers. I felt really sad as this has never happened to me before and it was a humiliating...
Read moreService was hella slow and it was really busy for a 1:30pm lunch on a weekday! It took more than an hour from the time we sat down and to when we finished eating. Slow service aside, food was legitimately good, hot, and fresh.
I had the super burrito and it was one of the best ones I've had in a while. It had plenty of cheese. The beans were well-seasoned and cooked well. The rice had flavor. The meat was tender. All the ingredients were generous. The outside was pressed to give the tortilla more texture. It wasn't a creative or original burrito, but the perfect iteration of a classic burrito.
My co-workers said the burrito was a tad bit smaller than usual. It was filling. I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. I wish all the prices were $1-2 less and the service was faster, but man, that burrito--I could eat...
Read moreI would come to this location often, but my last two visits were not so good. My review is about my recent visit as I ordered 6 chicken street tacos that were to have onion and cilantro. However, this food food was EXTREMELY HOT!!! I did not order spicy meat and yet the cook made it that way nor was it listed on the menu as such. The usually nice people were very dry as if I were no longer welcome. As a woman of color to be treated badly by another targeted minority is sad. I will no...
