The food -- 10/10, the drinks 10/10, the ambience 10/10.

My partner and I are both vegan and were super excited to come out and try this new bar.

We had a wonderful experience with one of the bartenders when we ordered our first round of drinks, but unfortunately while we were ordering the second round, we were met with an extremely sour and rude bartender that unfortunately resulted in us ending our night early.

This person yelled 3 separate times at my partner -- once for supposedly standing in the wrong area to order drinks despite a total lack of signage or any indication of the correct place to order, the second time for not speaking loud enough when telling the last name for the tab, and the third time for not being close enough to the bar to grab the drink, despite having to bring back the number to the table because we ordered food.

We wanted to come out and support a newly opened bar (especially with all these incredible vegan options!), but this experience really made both me and my partner feel incredibly uncomfortable, and we are not sure if we will return because of it.

I would recommend placing signs that show where the correct area to order the bar is in well-lit areas to avoid confusion moving forward, instead of yelling at the customers. Another idea is to have a QR code at the table that allows you to order the food, so that you don't have to walk back and forth between the bar and table with the number.

I don't think the establishment should suffer from the attitude of one of the bartenders -- but I hope this can be improved in the future, as we would love to come back. We totally understand that bartending on a Saturday night can get incredibly stressful, but that stress shouldn't be taken out on the patrons willing to spend over $100 at the establishment with the intention on having a really fun &...

I came here during Halloweekend expecting a fun, social time, but honestly, it was kind of a letdown and I was happy to leave.

They had live DJ’s all night, and a couple of my friends who are DJ’s were part of the lineup, so I went to support them. The night started early around 8pm on Saturday night. I ordered a cocktail and bar snack shortly after arriving. The drink was pretty inexpensive for the Bay Area, but it wasn’t very good. The pretzel tasted like a frozen pretzel that had been microwaved, definitely not freshly made. Later, I bought a couple friends and myself a round of jell-o shots, which were cheap but watered down. None of us felt any type of buzz from them, as they tasted like barely any alcohol had been added.

While the energy overall was high due to the live music, the dance floor was a tiny triangle section of the bar with barely enough space for anyone but the rotating lineup of DJ’s to dance. The wrap-around cocktail bar itself takes up the majority of the space situated in the center of the venue. Most people were coupled up and only talking to each other, while the rest of the guests were seated in small groups at adjacent tables. I’ve never felt so isolated in a crowd on the biggest party weekend...

The space is very nice, cocktails are great, prices are excellent, and the food items looked great too although I did not eat there because I had just come from dinner. I came here yesterday (Monday) with a few friends and the service was not great but not totally heinous either. The first bartender we ordered drinks from was curt (rude, even). He was visibly upset that we all opened separate tabs, even though we tried to order individually to avoid confusion, to which he also seemed annoyed. He changed his tone when our other friend arrived and he knew her. Suddenly, he became hospitable. After that interaction, I asked for drinks from a different bartender who was much nicer. The bartender talked to my friend about working at catering companies instead of bars for a while, which perhaps explains his impatience towards settling tabs or interacting with strangers. Apart from poor service from one bartender, I like this place a lot and I want to see it succeed so I will return on a busier night (as opposed to Monday because that can be such a weird weekday for service) and I'm optimistic it will be better. If that's the case, I'll make sure to...

East Bay’s BEST bar! This self proclaimed martini dive bar still manages to be fresh and modern and sexy. They offer complementary popcorn, always have great music (soundtracks or DJs!), their food is vegan, the drinks are shaken with absolute VIGOR, and the service is top tier for the industry. A special thanks to Den for being such a gracious and personable owner, Sunny for always having the best rapport with guests, Julian for keepin it real, Max for witty conversations, V for being a badass sweetheart, Dani for the most loving queer vibes, Michael for his easy smiles and easy demeanor, mellow Jeanie with her finesse for the craft, Dave’s vigilance at the door, and of course Jordan (especially when wearing a tank top haha!) Love you all. Thanks for creating such a fantastic space in Oakland!
