Chris’s Ice Cream Treats — Restaurant in Oakwood

Do not do business with this place. They are very unprofessional and combative! I had to confirm our price and time the day before the event! the owner never sent any official confirmation or email to confirm our date , time, or service. His driver showed up and dispensed ice cream without notifying me. I also did not like the fact that on his website it has certain price ranges. I explained to Chris what I wanted when we originally spoke. The day of the event, he said the website was old . No receipt was provided , no noting! He had me at a price that I did not agree to and the ending result : he asked did i want the driver to leave! No ! you just gave 10 kids ice cream...the others were in line! I will never recommend for any event..so very...

Saw a “Chris’s Ice Cream Treats” truck selling ice cream to kids yesterday in Streetsboro Ohio. No social distance, no gloves, no mask, window wide open. The man even put the money near his mouth (not kidding, filmed it) before handing the kid his change and ice cream.

I called to ask the policy on this, and was assured that PPE was being used, gloves, mask, and even a ‘grabber’ all whilst keeping the window as closed as possible. None of this was true, I have video to prove this.

Irresponsible and ridiculous.

Edit: spoke to Chris on the phone, and he seemed reasonable. He assured me this operators actions were against policy. Time will...

Just saw Chris's ice cream truck in our neighborhood, it was awesome to watch the kids run to the truck, and the music left such a sense of joy. Everyone who saw it was all smiles. To top it off, the driver asked if we'd like ice cream, and when he found out we didn't have money on us, he offered it to us anyway. Such a kind gesture from a man who clearly loves his job and lives to bring joy. In a world that could desperately use more love and simple pleasures, Chris's ice...
