Linda's Pizza — Restaurant in Ocean Gate

Pizza was tasty although their are many pizzerias in the surrounding area up and down Route 9 from you to choose from that are only minutes away that can just as good. Though delivery was lightning quick for a weekend order in my opinion which is good for hungry customers like ourselves. We ordered a half sausage-half pepperoni pie for myself and my father. Cooked on the well done side which makes the crust even more enjoyable. A nice amount of pepperoni on the pie gave it plenty of flavor and was enjoyable, sausage side was generous and tasty as well. Linda's has been a landmark in Ocean Gate for years moving into the town recently we will for sure be ordering again as the delivery selections in Ocean Gate are limited. We were in search of a new pizza place a few years back. The place that we use to order from in the local shop rite plaza in Bayville for approximately 6 years plus went downhill in every aspect to were the pizza was terrible. We had tried several different pizza places that are located on route 9. In our search, we found that we like Linda's the best! We order from here fairly often. The service has always been excellent and the delivery lighting quick! The pizza, poppers, the anti pasta salad, the subs , and cheese steaks are awesome. Many of the pasta dishes are delicious! My daughter loves the manicotti and orders it often. I usually will rate a pizza place by how well they make their pizza, cheese steaks, anti pasta salad, and linguine with red clam sauce. Golly gee folks, I never would have thought about going to this delicious pizza joint if the deli next door wasn't serving food at the moment. But everything happens for a reason. Linda's is a very nice Italian joint that serves a lot more than just pizza. I liked hearing the employees speaking Italian among one another, it felt like I had just teleported to Trieste for lunch. While the restaurant was only open for takeout, I was wildly impressed with the quickness and swiftness of the kitchen when I ordered the Ocean Gate philly cheesteak!
