The Penguin Again — Restaurant in Oconto Falls

Another WOW! Boyfriend and myself stopped to eat. We both ordered chili, bowls. It took an hour (4:30 orders placed. 5:30 asking where are chili is) chili was supposed to be pre-served, before our pizza and chimichanga. Chili was so thick. No liquid in the bowl whatsoever. Then I bit into, I don’t know. It was like a piece of bone. I asked what it was and was told the cook thought it was a piece of overcook hamburger. No sorry or anything. Then, I get a second bone in my stand up chili. I complained and was told that she knew nothing about the first one. These 3 girls interchangeably changed tables, orders, etc. very often. No one knew anything. My boyfriend went to bar to refill his soda and STOOD TJERE 10 minutes before any of these girls acknowledged him. These girls running this place were a joke. They were nice to your face but would not do anything to help a customer out. This place was much different 1 year ago. Food was excellent then but we can assure you that we will never return here after this extremely disappointing experience. I will be sure to let everyone I know to stay far away from...

My Sister and I were in Oconto Falls, WI and decided to pop in to The Penguin Again. We were very happy to have such great food, service and conversations. While they offer pizza, chicken sandwiches, burgers, wraps and salads, we went for the SPECIAL of the day and it was really Amazing!! Definitely 5 Stars for delicious. This Beef Stroganoff dish was perfection and the flavor was outstanding. It came with a small fresh salad and piping hot, fresh and crunchy, cake-like BIG Breadstick that was right up there with the best I've ever tasted if not the best! The person waiting on us smiled as we savored our meal and she was very nice and friendly too. The atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed our lunch there. I would highly recommend stopping in at The Penguin Again - ps ... they had me at penguins ... one of my favorite...

I do not recommend this place. I went there and waited for over an hour. The first time for my food I figured well. They might be busy so I let it go. The next week we went back in again and waited over an hour again. And other people that came in after us got their food. How is a little upset? And when I mentioned it, they told me they had a lot of to go orders which they did not because I was watching.. I got all you can eat wings. And when I was ready to leave. I had a few wings left and asked if I could take them with me. They said no, but yet the guy next to me asked and they gave him a to go box, the Waitress I had was rude. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. The food was ok, but not the greatest. The atmosphere...
