Los Magueyes — Restaurant in Oconto

After 2 attempts of disappointment prior, I decided to give this place 1 more try after a year. The same problem remains, and that it is just the pure D level quality of food. Ordered a 3 meat burrito for 17$… the portions of meat were minuscule and was about 90% rice. Apart from the portion of protein the worst of it all was the taste of which there was none… nothing tasted marinated or even remotely seasoned even to the level of simple salt and pepper. Steak was chewy, chicken was chopped to the size of 1/4 of a jelly bean chorizo was nowhere to be found and if it was there could not be tasted. It was supposed to be covered in salsa and cheese dip but whatever it was, was a runny puddle surrounding the tortilla and dry on top. 20$ with tip down the hole. Over all experience is that I was not impressed. My margarita was twice the price that was advertised and not only that but my "Mexican" style tacos were missing one major thing being the lime. Never have I ever orders Mexican style tacos and not been givin lime. And this place wasn't even busy. To top it all off it was $53 for 2 people. Maybe we went on an off day, but It was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Gave it two stars for cleanliness and atmosphere. However, service was hard to get. Most staff were on their phones. Food was bland, shrimp (in tacos) was overcooked and dry. Nobody checked in with our table for extra drinks, napkins, etc. And the bill was eye-popping.
