Texas Burger — Restaurant in Odessa

Texas burger is just one of those places where if you know about it you love it. But if you have never been you are missing out and should head that way today. I know what you are thinking but I do not work there nor have I. One of the things that makes Texas burger stand out is they have homemade ice cream. These are the flavors they have Vanilla, Strawberry, Butter Pecan, Rocky Road, Pralines ‘N’ Cream, Cookies ‘N’ Cream, Chocolate Mint, Strawberry Cheesecake, Banana Nut, Almond Joy, Butterfinger, Pistachio Almond. They have ice cream cones, banana splits, Parfait,Coke Floats and more. My personal favorite is their milkshakes. They can make the shake as thick or this as you want. They just adjust how much milk they use. Most other fast food milk shakes are, runny and come in some sorta of bag made of who knows what. So what else do they have besides those things? Cookies lots of cookies you can buy them one at a time or by the dosen. The cookies are freshly baked. Oh did I mention they also have brownies. Texas burger has large assortment of food. From burgers to hotdogs to sandwich, salids, kids meal, chicken meals, shrimp, and on and on. I think you have a good idea by now if you have read this far. The food is great. The employees friendly and knowledgeable. Every time I've been there they get my order right. I have never had to wait in line for long. Over all I highly recommend...

Update: A couple of days after this I was able to talk with their manager and the person told me that this was a mistake, that they retrained everybody to mix the ice cream properly and told me that their blended ice cream is supposed to be multiple layers of the mix and vanilla. I would have even gotten a refund for the ice cream if I hadn't lost the receipt, so they made the situation right and I really appreciate that in a business. #GoodJobTexasBurger Thank you. FYI, Don't bother getting ice cream from Texas Burger, unless all you want is Vanilla. Bought Cookies & Cream ice cream, and after getting past the top layer -where there was a large pile of Oreo cookies- the rest of the ice cream is just Vanilla. What a cheap cheat! I hate companies that do this. Sonic, or at least the one going to Andrews, will do the same thing with their ice cream blends; all the mixed stuff you want ONLY on the top, then vanilla the rest of the cup. So just FYI. #TexasBurger...

The employees are not attentive they are playing and flirting with the managers, the managers are constantly yelling orders at the very few employees that are working. If you are at the counter waiting the manager will come and ask you why are you staring and if you have a problem with her employees and when you reply you need to order she walks away and says someone help them when you get a chance. They are very vulgar, this is not the Texas burger I remember that was a very comforting place to come eat and be treated as an appreciated customer. Seems they forgot their wages get paid thanks to customers ordering, and should not treat them or the few employees working as if they are a burden and not their daily bread. People rather go eat at Keith's though more expensive, and menu is not as expanse; customer service is of much higher quality, by far, then this Texas burger. Management should set the correct example or be replaced....
