I can’t express how damn good the food is here.
I came here during one my work trips to eat the highly rated birria tacos. I ended up coming on the day where the special of the day was chicken tinga. I don’t remember what day it was, but I guess they only specifically serve it on that day. I love the way my mother in law makes tinga, so why not if it’s only being served one day out of the week. I went on a whim and ordered it.
I figured I could eat three, but they put mountains of chicken on the tostadas. The tinga was so flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Kind of spicy, but worth it. They also had strawberry Fresca that day, eye popping delicious, I even wanted to take something to go. I could’ve fit more in my stomach that day so I payed and left.
I had to catch a flight the next day at night, but I made sure to come back to have the birria tacos. Man that was way too good as well. So much flavor, and again a little on the spicy side, but I don’t mind it when you got all that flavor.
Excellent food here! The young lady with braces who served me both times was very attentive and friendly.
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll make it a...
Read moreOkay, the Shrimp Empanadas were good. 🥟 Just a couple of my opinions the green salsa I am guessing was made with Avocadoas, onion, and garlic it was not spicy at all. I had to ask if they had red sauce. They said yes and it was very hot. They also stated that they had to make up a batch which suprised me it being a saturday morning. I found it to be painfully hot like they said but in my opinion it lacked flavor. We waited over an hour for the Shrimp Empanadas. They were great about refills for our drinks but not on salsa and chips. The people who came in 15 minutes after us received their Shrimp Empanadas before us. While we were waiting I did ask for a sample of their Shrimp Cevichi it was okay but in my opinion it lacked tomatoes, avocados and cilantro. The place was somewhat clean we must have just gotten into a booth where a child put their dirty hands all over the window. If I was in the area I would stop by for their Shrimp Empanadas and I would definitely like to try their beef dishes after all Mexican Food is...
Read moreFirst, the location. This is located in an industrial area west of the freeway in Ogden.
It's a bit run down and doesn't look open when I drive up, but it is. Inside is fun and has bright colors. However it needs a paint and fits, "hole in the wall."
I feel like I'm in Mexico. Spanish and authentic food. But also a lot of flies.
I got the taco special for $6.99 for 3 Tuesday special. I love the variety. One burris, one steak and one shrimp with cheese. Comes with chopped onion, fresh lime wedges, cilantro, pico, avocado sauce (can't remember the name) and hot sauce.
Everything was warm and fresh. The burria is good but not crisp on the outside. There's gristle on steak and it was fine.
They are very friendly. I got my food fast. Looking at the tables nearby, it looks like a fun.
I'm intrigued with the cauliflower vegan chevice. I've never seen that on any other menu. I posted photos of the menu, desserts...
