Rivas Mexican Grill #18 — Restaurant in Ogden

Horrible customer service from the manager not sure what her name is but she told me she was the manager.. So I went to the drive thru on my lunch so I don't have alot of time and waited 10 minutes no one helped me I pulled up to the window the lady looks at me and walks away comes back about a minute later or so with no head set on I tell her I've been sitting in the drive thru for 10 minutes and then she says to me rudly cash or card I say I don't have cash so she says ok sorry I said what do you mean she said the car machine is not working so we can not help you so I explain to her that I waited for 10 minutes and now it's been 15 or so minutes but I tell her that just waisted my whole lunch time she shrugged her shoulders at me like oh well I. Asked why don't you have a sign out on the board that says cash only?? She says I don't know..i asked to speak to the owner as she told me she was the manager and clearly not any help she closed the window comes back about two minutes later and and asked if I was paying with cash I said no I asked you to get the owner then she says they are not there .. What a complete disrespect for a customers time and to be the manager and treat a customer that way I will never return to...

We went into this place on a whim, for a really late lunch or really early dinner, odd time anyway. As we entered I immediately noticed how clean it was. It even smelled clean. Iykyk. Large seating area. You order at a counter then seat yourself. The young gal taking our order was very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a Pastor combo and a Carnitas combo. We could see it was being freshly cooked & was ready very quickly. The food was very good! Avocado was sliced fresh, the tomatoes were flavorful, lettuce fresh. The Carnitas had a very nice crispy outside yet juicy. They weren't dry. It's hard to get that crispiness and keep them from being too dry. They were excellent in our opinion. The Pastor was cooked very well, with a nice flavor profile. Beans were good. Rice was fluffy, lacked flavor but wasn't bad. Flour tortilla was large, thin, cooked just right. Large portions.
