It was a scorching July afternoon when I pulled into a lonely roadside Arby’s, lured by hunger and the promise of curly fries. Inside, the air was stale, the lights flickering like a dying memory, and the cashier barely acknowledged me as I ordered a Classic Roast Beef sandwich with fries and a root beer. When the food arrived, the fries were stone-cold and limp, as if they had been abandoned hours earlier. But it was the sandwich that truly unsettled me. The moment I unwrapped it, a wave of animalistic odor hit me—less like beef and more like wet fur, rotting hay, and something unidentifiable but wild. I took a bite out of desperation, only to be hit by a gamy, metallic taste that triggered a physical reaction—eyes watering, throat tightening, stomach turning.
I brought the sandwich to the counter and asked the cashier if something was wrong. He met my question with a blank stare and a cryptic reply: “We’ve had some supply issues.” Then he leaned in and said something that chilled me more than the meat ever could: “They don’t tell us where the meat comes from anymore.” I left immediately, the sandwich untouched on the tray like a cursed relic. That night, I had nightmares—fur against my skin, animal sounds turning human, a sandwich that blinked. I haven’t returned to Arby’s since, but sometimes, when the wind shifts just right, I catch that same feral scent in the air. And it always leaves me wondering what I really...
Read moreWe are regular customers to this Arby’s. Normally our experience is positive, however, tonight the missed items and mistakes coupled with the nasty attitude of the Arby’s employees is enough to turn us off to this location for good.
This is the only location where we have been instructed by employees the specials must be asked for to honor lower prices, and aju must be requested to include with the French dip sandwich.
Knowing this, we specifically asked for aju. We also wanted a shake, but were informed the shake machine was down, no problem there. The cashier did say they had cherry and apple turnovers, so we ordered a cherry turnover.
After getting home we realized the aju was missing, so we called in to address the issue. The employee took down our information so they could rectify the oversight on our next visit. Unfortunately we realized the cherry turnover we paid for was also missing, and the second call was less than pleasurable. The employees were combative, angry, and unwilling to help. Instead of adding a note to our previous complaint the employees were unprofessional, sophomoric, and completely unwilling to listen to our issues.
I would be happy to discuss this experience with a district manager, but was informed that person is on vacation, and their information can not be provided. We were given a name, Tracy Dean, however that is the only additional information we...
Read moreStaff, service, food quality, and even the other customers have always been the best at this location. The other night our car broke down at this location. I only had about 20 bucks to my name, but the 3 young kids we had with us were antsy and starving so I made the decision to get them Arby's with the last of my money, but we had to keep it cheap (Their father doesn't get paid for another week and a half at his new job). We go in and there was a nice gentleman in line behind us, I'm assuming he was a truck driver. He told us he missed his grandkids and wanted to do something nice, so he offered to pay for our entire meal! As if that wasn't enough, he added on a $50 Arby's gift card! It was so sweet. So fast forward to today, we went in for breakfast before school to use our gift card, but it wouldn't work for some reason. We were just going to cut our losses, but then one of the staff members paid for our food 🥲 I am just so grateful for the generosity that has come out of that place for our family. You...
