Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Ohio

My fiance ordered a birthday cake for me last week for my birthday party. They needed a 24 hour notice, so he ordered it to be picked up the next day (Friday) at 7:30pm. The next day, he calls to make sure the cake was ready, they had it put in for the next day (Saturday). He picked up a cake at giant eagle for the party, but I did still want the cotton candy ice cream cake. So, Saturday comes, he goes to pick up the cake that was ordered 2 days prior. He was told they put it in for Sunday, then was told there was nothing in the computer. They did just make him a cake that he came back and picked up 30 min later. Today we go in for the new blizzard they were advertising. My husband wanted a large, they don't sell those in large? So, I got a small and he ordered something els . It came to 8.28. I gave the girl $8 and 2 dimes, a nickle and 3 pennies. She takes the money, another girl comes over to her and they were talking back and forth. She opens the window and gives me back my nickle, "we don't take Canadian money". So, I gave her 5 pennies. Her and the other girl started talking again. She opens the window again, "i only have .23 cents here". I literally just gave her 5 pennies, how do you have .23? I give her a quarter because I'm getting irritated at this point. She says, "sorry, my manager doesn't like it when people don't give the right amount". Horrible customer service! I gave her the right change, SHE messed up somehow, and then was very rude about her mistake. I've been to this dairy a handful of times, only through the drive thru. A couple times the lines were not long, a couple it was long, and one time I was the only one in the drive thru line. Almost every single time I felt rushed, I ordered an ice cream cone and paused to look at what I could get for my friends son that was 4, the lady o e the speaker said is that it, I told her no, and proceeded to order something else, she came over the speaker and gave me my total, I told her I wasn't done yet, there wasn't an apology, or an excuse seeing how I was the only person in line. I finished my order, I was not given a total this time, she just said pull up to the window. When I pulled up, a lady swung open the doors and told me my total, after I gave her the $ she started handing me my order, the only thing she had right was the ice cream cone. She never said thank you, she shut the window after handing me the last item. I had to wait for her to turn around, I tapped on the window, she oped it with a sour look on her face and asked what I needed, she was obviously irritated when I told her 2 things were wrong of my order. First time going to this dairy queen and dont reccomend. The food I ordered was of poor quality. My fries were dark looking, cold and for some reason they were all broken and smashed. They did not put appropriate condiment portions on the hamburgers. Most my burger was cover in mayo with a dab of ketchup. The burger was cold and burnt around the edges. The hamburger bun was missing pieces and stale. The tomatoes also tasted like they should of been thrown out 2 days ago. The bacon on the burger had a very odd stringy consistency, so much so that I removed it and threw it away. Very disappointing. Dairy queen is not a cheap place to eat and it a shame that the employees are not putting quality in the food or the customer service.
