We received their menu in the mail and decided to order from them.
We ordered a "X Large Pizza" and "hot" wings. I am wondering if maybe they got the order wrong?
So I called the order for a pick up and was informed that it would take about 35 minutes. I arrived at the 40 minute mark and walked in. I should have known something was wrong when I walked up to the counter that had the "pick up" sign and there were no boxes or bags. I had to wait a few minutes while the woman at the counter took an order.
I walked up and told her I was picking up and gave her the name the order was on. She gave me a confused look. She went to the kitchen and no one had my order. She came back and stated the order was never given to the kitchen. I remember giving my order to a male who reread my order back to me, and like any other pick up order I placed in the past at other establishments, it was good to go.
She never apologized and never checked into what happened. While taking my order, she had a conversation with two other customers that I assumed she was friends with. I couldn't believe the rudeness.
I then had to wait another 35 minutes for the new order.
First off, that pizza was NOT 16 inches as advertised. Also, I know that was store bought pizza! You are not going to tell me that they made that pizza in the kitchen! Also the wings were not even "hot" and had NO flavor to them. I don't even think those wings were mild.
I never thought I was going to pay top dollar for store bought pizza and gas station wings in my life.
They are definitely NOT...
Read moreIf you're looking for a friendly, family-owned, hometown restaurant with fresh, delicious meals, look no further! The staff are incredibly friendly and professional, going the extra mile for their patrons like you wouldn't BELIEVE! It's a large building with little outside to make it shout "We are here!" but the food is worth the stop. Not only is the food delicious but it also FRESH!
I was surprised and delighted when I noticed bushes of tomato plants while coming up to the door, all flourishing and practically dripping with fruit. When asked about it, the young lady at the front was happy to tell me they grew not only tomatoes but also peppers, cucumbers, watermelon, and spices! To say I was impressed is selling it short.
If you decide to stop by you really MUST try out their newest menu item: Crispy Pita
I was offered one to try and it was absolutely delicious! Flaky and crispy with the most delectable combo of spices and cheese, served with a side of what could only be described as the best marinara sauce I have ever had the pleasure of tasting.
In short, this restaurant has everything going for it! My visit there was excellent with by far the best service I have had in years! I will be making it a point to become a regular and I hope you too will come on by for a wonderful experience...
Read moreThey called the police on me. First off, when I pulled into this parking lot, there were no vehicles on the site. The area looked abandoned, and there were no other parking places near the door to quickly run in and out for a quick pickup. There were, except they were ♿ handicap parking. I only had 20 minutes for break. I pulled in quickly to make sure the Dayton Village Plaza was open. Firstly, first impressions mean a lot. I even tipped, mainly because the cashier was very polite and helpful. The cashier said, "Have a seat. Your order would only take 10 minutes." I saw 👀 a gentleman come from the back come. He seemed to be looking out to see who's upfront, where I sat. I believe that the gentlemen called the police on me because someone from the kitchen came out whispering, "Move your cars, the police are on the way." Just after, a few new other customers sat down. First off, the outside looked abandoned with tall weeds growing out of control surrounding the building. I've never been or seen Dayton Village Plaza before, but a lady referred me. Okay, let's speed up the story. The police were very nice. They looked my way and waved. I pulled out, heading back to work. I didn't eat that meal, no telling what was done to it if the police were called. I will...
