Joes Place II — Restaurant in Ohio

Usually pretty good but last visit was awful. Went to pick up pizza for take out. Pizza was 20 min late. Brought it home, it was burnt. Bartender knowingly handed me a burnt pizza without saying anything. How do you do that?

Update: bartender is awful. Too interested in watching tv with his family to ask if we wanted another drink, the check, or even just silverware. Food much better, pizza really good. Good job to the cook!

Second update: went back twice over the summer to see if things changed. Bartender replaced, and so was cook. First visit -the food was awful. So awful. Who puts shredded cheese on nachos, instead of melted nacho cheese? Second visit -again the food was awful. The bartender/waitress was seen arguing with the chef loudly, there were 2 different radios playing music and competing with each other, and absolutely nothing on TV except some soundless aerial view show. Food so awful, I won't even do takeout. Pizza still getting burned on half, raw on other after a year and a half. Not sure why Joe won't fix his oven.

Would have gave 5 stars. Because I used to love this place. I used to stop there all the time. Being a driver but the last 3 times I have stopped there. I have been turned away and told that the grill is closed. I will admit it has been later in the evening. But it used to all stay open until 2. It is 11 o'clock on the Thursday and the grill is closed already. For the third time. Other then this it's a great place to stop as a driver. I just wish it would go back to the way it was before.
