-UPDATE FROM MY FIRST REVIEW-

SINCE MY LAST VISIT I HAVEN'T ATE HERE AFTER THE WAY I WAS TREATED! LIKE I WAS THE PROBLEM WHY MY ORDER WAS MESSED UP YET AGAIN! 3 TIMES IN A ROW IS ENOUGH TO DRIVE A PERSON CRAZY. I HAD TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK WHICH IS 25 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE TO FIX MY ORDER AGAIN AND WAS ASKED TO LEAVE AND WAIT IN MY CAR WHILE MY ODER WAS BEING MADE. UM WHY? THERE WAS 4 OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT SHOWED UP AFTER ME THAT WERE INSIDE THE RESTAURANT WHILE THERE FOOD WAS BEING MADE SO I GOT SOLELY SINGLED OUT TO GET TOLD TO GET IN MY CAR WHILE I WAIT FOR MY FOOD BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH MY FRUSTRATION OR HEAR WHAT I HAD TO SAY ABOUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY ORDER! IT WASN'T LIKE I WAS THROWING A FIT AND TURNING TABLES OVER! BUT REALLY I DON'T GO OUT OF MY WAY TO GIVE GRIEF TO PEOPLE FOR THE FUN OF IT. I SURLY DON'T WANT TO DRIVE 25 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE JUST TO GET MY ORDER FIXED WHEN I GOT OTHER THINGS GOING ON THAT NEEDED TO GET DONE. 3 TIMES OF MESSING UP AN ORDER IS A BIT MUCH AND IT STARTS TO BECOME A CHORE AND A WASTE OF SOMEONE'S TIME TO HAVE TO COME THERE AND PICK UP YOUR FOOD THEN DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK ONCE YOU REALIZING THE FOOD WAS WRONG. I WAITED ANOTHER 25 MINUTES FOR TO GET MY FOOD THEY SLAPPED TOGETHER. IT WAS GREASY AND DRENCHED IN DRESSING. DON'T ODER ONLINE! THE WEBSITE IS FAULTY. DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK CORRECTLY. DON'T CALL OVER THE PHONE UNLESS THE OWNER IS THERE BECAUSE SHE'S THE ONLY ONE THAT GETS THE JOB DONE CORRECTLY. I'VE CALLED AND PLACED ORDER WITH A YOUNG MAN WORKING FRONT COUNTER AND IT STILL COME OUT WRONG IN THE END. I CALLED TO SPEAK TO OWNER AND SHE GOT IT ON POINT. TOLD ME THE GUY WAS NEW SO OK I LET IT GO.NO HARD FEELINGS BUT WHAT ABOUT AFTER THAT? MY ORDERS WAS WRONG AGAIN 2 MORE TIMES AFTER THAT AND I USED THE WEBSITE. I'VE BEEN ORDERING FOOD ONLINE FOR MANY YEARS SO IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO DO. I'M DISAPPOINTED AND I DON'T SUPPORT BUSINESSES THAT TREAT CUSTOMERS IN THAT WAY. SADLY THIS WAS MY VERY FIRST PICK FOR A PIZZA JOINT THAT NOW I NO LONGER WILL BE VISITING! I RATHER NOT BE SINGLED OUT AS BEING A PROBLEM WHEN IN FACT IT WAS THE WEBSITE AND THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE. LEARN TO HANDLE SITUATIONS LIKE THAT IN A BETTER MORE...

The food is good but the value for some of the items is a bit expensive. We ordered 2 sandwiches, a full order of pretzel bites and a full order of fries to share. When I called to order, I specifically asked how big the full order of fries was since it was over $7. I was told it’s 2 bags, which would be 2 of the half orders. When we got home and opened our order we only had one small bag that was probably the equivalent of a large fry from McDonalds. I called back to ask why we only had one bag and was told that is the full order, which contradicted what I was initially told. When I asked “are you sure one small bag is a full order for over $7?” The girl verified just to make sure and said yes it is. I told her that seemed a bit pricey for such a small amount and she said “yea I know. Sorry about that” then thanked me and told me to have a good night . I could tell she was new and in training. She was very polite and kind, but customer concerns should be passed to someone that is not in training. Also, the BLT we ordered had very little bacon or lettuce on it and was mostly just the bun and tomato. I understand the cost of everything is thru the roof these days, but for $40 this meal was a bit...

What do the kids say? This food is bussin? That it is! MattyQ's is a really great place to bring the family. Not only is the service great (they employ several high school students and every one of them I've encountered as been kind and helpful and they all work very hard and do a great job!), The food is hot and delicious. I am not a big fan of food so it is rare that I am blown away, but MattyQ's blew me away! We got the thin crust pepperoni and tenderloin sandwich. So good! The owner/manager was helpful in answering questions and even visited our table to make sure everything was up to par. Though it's less important, the variety of TV shows is great. Bob Ross, Lego channel, sports, and trivia.. impossible to not be entertained and share some moments with the family. They're also more than willing to change a TV to your liking (ask the little girl who is now watching Paw Patrol instead of lacrosse 😉). She didn't even ask, the owner/manager offered. They make you feel like family at home here. We also purchased some cookies to go and they are so good! We will be back as often...
