Great museum for learning about aircraft produced by the WACO aircraft company which originally started out in Ohio and manufactured a whole range of aircraft components and biplanes, especially during WWI and the interwar years.
Unlike now, when there are only a handful of massive corporations manufacturing aircraft globally, the aviation sector was more open in those days and had a whole bunch of relatively small/medium players. The museum offers a glimpse back to those days and the ability to relive them through flights in a WACO biplane (recommend calling in advance to confirm pilot availability and aircraft readiness). Being an open cockpit aircraft, it's a completely different experience from most GA aircraft.
All the volunteers at the museum when I visited were amazing and super friendly. Would definitely recommend checking out if you've an interest in aviation history or just want to go for a flight...
Read moreTerrific Museum! I was the sole visitor one morning and received a superb tour from the Executive Director and her wonderful dog! This museum was a LOT OF FUN and I would certainly come back. For a small museum, it packs in a great deal of aircraft, displays and information. The gift shop is excellent as well! I had a fantastic time here and would certainly highly recommend it to all pilots (you can fly in!) and those driving autos. Thank you for a really fun visit today! Mike Marra, Keystone Flight...

I bought a WACO bi-plane Christmas Ornament. This stop is definitely...
