As someone who previously worked at a McDonald’s for quite awhile, I have a little more insight as to what goes on at one. Usually when we go here it’s not too bad besides they could greet the costumers and say “have a nice day” instead of just handing the food to us and walking away/closing the window or like the time I found a hair wrapped in my chicken wrap and they looked at me like I did it. Today however I’d have to say was the worst. A few days ago I got chicken wraps and I asked for no lettuce and instead I got letttuce and no ranch. Like I said I worked at one so I understand this happens so I just called up and explained to a manager who said to come in whenever and they’d replace it. So today I go in bring my receipt and explain to a manager who was at the cash register and she took my receipt and said she’d replace it for me and besides the look of annoyance I got from her everything was fine and I chalked it up to maybe she was having a bad day I understand. Well we decide to go through the drive through and get our drinks. My fiancé got a coke and when he took a drink of it, it was warm with little ice and tasted as if the syrup was running out. Understanding again that these things happen!, I went inside and explained to her and she looked annoyed once more with me but smiled. What surprised me is she was not surprised at all by my complaint and said that the Coke, Diet Coke and Dr P as if she already knew this. (If you know the syrup is out don’t offer the drinks, simple). So she handed me a new cup and I got root beer instead. Took it back out into the car, my bf took one drink and gave me a disgusted look. There’s absolutely no Co2 in that pop machine... So I go back in and instead of going back to the counter to annoy her again I just dump it out and get another drink from another machine (this time it was carbonated and actually has syrup in it!). As I’m leaving I get another dirty look from her not realizing that glass is reflective (smart) and I’m stared at the whole way out by the employees. You can not be mad at a PAYING customer for your wrongs. Very unprofessional and and needs to learn better costumer service (at least to the costumers face) definitely...
Read moreWe litterally just walked out of this McDonald's lobby. The worst experience I have ever had at a McDonald's in my life. Everyone of us left this facility feeling like puking (one of our kids has already thrown up). First of all, there was only enough sweet tea to fill up the very bottom portion of a cup (not even sweet). So we went up to the counter where two employees and a manager (black male) saw us and walked away to begin a conversation about another manager they apparently they did not like (lots of cussing). Secondly, part of the way through our meal my significant other started feeling down right sick to his stomach looked down and realized that one of his patties was red (not even just a little pink). Red to the point that it was almost bloody. Thirdly, this facilities drink machines and tables were filthy! I have never been treated so poorly at a Mcdonnalds facility! Right before leaving a bus full of high school kids pulled up and came into eat. I can only hope that none of them leave there sick. Once in the parking lot an individual that had been in the lobby working on a computer in the corner told another girl, "looks like the food is still being served raw. I bet this is making a lot of people sick." She seemed to be a manager (Hailee). The manager behind the counter had been talking poorly about another manager had mentioned it being hailee specifically and one of the workers had greated her as Hailee. I will never ever eat at this...
Read moreFood isn't as fast as should be but that is due to the volume of customers constantly going thru to get food, but when I do get my food, my food is nice and fresh and my fries are ALWAYS how I like them, NICE AND HOT!! Employees aren't at fault for my waiting but are very nice and polite and if I stand there to long they give me something to compensate my wait. ( free drink, maybe a free fry for my troubles, depends on manager on shift. The volume of politeness is extremely high for all the customer based situations they have on their plates. Will recommend this company anytime as well as the South Zanesville store anyway, keep up the good work southtown, you're doing awesome supplying your customers and the world with your HOT food, that is just how I like it, might not be right out the window right away but you have to serve fresh hot food and that takes some time to make so fast is only verified by freshness in my book, the hotter it is, the fresher it is, GOOD JOB SOUTHTOWN...
